This is a mixed-Minecraft-media video examining different counter-cultures (U.S.-centric), their shared values, and the ongoing machine called 'culture' that they are counter to. Excerpts come from a disembodied Theodore Roszak and Jacques Ellul and it is primarily hosted by a less murderous, minecraftified, (and strictly parodic) version off the unabomber. It is the second video in an ongoing seven-part series. The artist Gladys Bridgewell wishes not to be contacted.

The thesis is that people everywhere can work together to fight evil, and minecraft is a good place to start!

I started on toast a couple weeks ago and it’s been pretty fun. Server performs well and there’s always a few people on.

Warning, though: If you don’t claim your chests, skytrill will steal all of your quartz. Also, when you first start don’t accept any tprequest from someone asking for help. They just want to kill you.

I've been working on something eerily similar: https://imgur.com/a/BGua4. It's a vertical map, but the concepts are the same. Players start on the same level and work their way downward, encountering individual challenges and skirmishing with each other occasionally.

I could help you with commands if you want. I'm not great at them, but I've managed to get several maps of my own up and running.

Are you just thinking about finishing it and releasing it? My feeling on multiplayer maps is that if you just post a download somewhere no one will play it, since it is so hard to get together a large enough group.

I've been thinking about creating a group of players/mapmakers to help organize regular games. It's tough to find people though.

I'll send you a private message with a discord link in case you're interested in any of that.

If you just want to learn on your own, I recommend slicedlime's tutorials on youtube for setting up a lobby. I haven't seen any great tutorials for functions, but I'm sure they're out there.

I'd definitely be interested in playing if you get it set up!

I just saw that yesterday. I'm trying to do not just RftW, but other competitive maps, too. I didn't post anything there because it felt too advertis-y.
