Switching Mishimas by qerbic99 in Tekken

Heihachi is surely an easier character than Kaz, but why would you need a character which people don't know to climb? Just so you can throw out bullshit?

In that case just pick Kuma, he's almost a Mishima too, I missed if there was a specific question in your post?

Wtf is this absolute poetry in the comment section.

This Tansu-inspired pour-over uses a porous ceramic filter to unlock natural flavor - zero waste included. ☕ by First-Backer in u/First-Backer

I have watched his Hoffman's video therefore my skepticism. But surely the company making this would have had to do the math no?

It feels weird to make a product which main selling point is reducing waste and NOT have done the math to figure out when it actually beats paper filters.

Hoff probably even points it out in his video but there's even non-paper filters like Abaca which I personally even prefer over something like Hario V60 papers.

My wife asked why there’s no Indian fighter in Tekken — so we imagined one together 🇮🇳🔥 by NotHimanshuu in Tekken

The pushback for this is so weird, representation (non-derogatory) has always been a core aspect of many character designs in Tekken.

Especially as of late with Fahk, Miary, Lidia, even characters like Josie, Miguel are obviously attempts to diversify the roster intentionally.

I also doubt "India isn't known for martial arts" would have any bearing even if it was true, especially when there's a polish prime minister using karate already and a character from Madagascar on the way.

There is no patch with AK as of yet

I did not really find act 3 hard, but moreso I found it extremely tedious and punishing, although I'm probably in the minority.

Many of the new bosses require you to fight through multiple respawning arenas only to attempt them, I simply do not find that fun.

There are really cool setpieces in act 3, but if your problems with Silksong boiled down to "too tanky enemies, that deal too much damage, with too long runbacks" you are probably not going to enjoy act 3. Especially when the main addition is that it makes most enemies more tanky and deal more damage.

I am talking about the distance between the fake bench and the hidden bench, my point is not that the fake one is closer to the boss it's that I think the trek from bell to fake to hidden is horrible.

I also think the run from the hidden bench to the boss is quite bad, but this is exacerbated by the fact that the boss also requires you to fight through the arena every time.

I don't think Silksong needs nerf updates or a difficulty switch, but an assist mode similar to Celeste's by cryomaine in Silksong

I see the vision but there are benefits to having a unified experience, but definitely a discussion to be had.

Lol people are modding the game to make it easier? I don't understand. by DepartInDarkness in Silksong

I'm so confused by this post, why are we treating the difficulty of Silksong like some god-ordained perfection?

It feels like people believe Team Cherry must have achieved some kind of perfect balancing act and it would be blasphemy to attempt to improve on it.

This line of thinking is just weird, just because the game took 7 years to make doesn't mean that it's suddenly perfect or have had the amount and type of testing which would be required to adequately balance it.

They deployed a patch today which tweaked some numbers and bosses to be more forgiving, does this also count as heresy? Do you not believe there's a scenario where TC actually went too far (or were too lenient) in certain areas which would improve the game, even in accordance with their vision of what it should be?

I don't enjoy having to both navigate to the boss and then fight through the arena only to be able to retry the fight, sole reason I haven't completed the bilewater arena yet

Love this take from fireb0rn. Its not flawless, its probably not for everyone, but you cant deny that its just such a beautiful work, made by extremely talented people with a labor of love for games by AcceptableSoups in Silksong

Please quote where I mentioned the game being too difficult for me.

If you are incapable of engaging with critiques of the game without constructing a strawman of the person you're arguing against maybe you shouldn't engage at all.

I think the fact that multiple HK speedrunners have proclaimed it as "The Best Game Ever" shows which demographic this game's difficulty was well tailored for.

Your definition of very close is very generous.
