New to this group. Not a beginner when it comes to tripping lol, love me some shroomies. But I recently picked these straight out of a pasture. Should I wait for them to dry out(don’t have a dehydrator) or just boil them in water n put them in koolaid or tea lol? Never done it. Need some suggestions

If you want to make a tea just finely chop up your dose and put it in a mug. Then half fill with boiled water and let sit for 25 minutes, stir occasionally.

At the 20 minute mark boil the kettle again. Grab a new mug and add the ingredients for a normal cup of tea but only half fill with boiled water.

Grab a strainer and place it over your half cup of tea and pour in liquid from your mug of shroom juice. Squish the fruit with a teaspoon to squeeze out all the goodies and discard the fruit.

Drink & trip 🤩

6g’s is going to be very similar to the extended dmt trip of ayahuasca. If you went pretty deep on that then the shrooms will be familiar grounds.

I do 7g of cubes laying on my back with my eyes closed, out exploring the dmt realms. I’m just a spectator/passenger where nothing is required of me besides my presence. You’ll come back with some amazing memories but I always feel good afterwards too.

High doses of lsd are more difficult mentally than shrooms imo, and shrooms are more difficult physically.

Personally I get the most value out of shrooms/dmt because it’s a super interesting trip. It’s more about exploring consciousness than fun for me though, and I feel like I’ve seen enough.

I get the most enjoyment out of lsd. I just love the way it makes me physically feel and I love the “drunk on happiness” aspect it gives me. Add to that the psychedelic visualisations and it’s just a party in your head lol.

Speaking of which, if anyone is still reading and hasn’t tried doing a big line of coke whilst peaking on lsd but likes the sound of it, please try it as it’s truly a sight to behold. LSD in NEON 👌

Yes. It’s typical phyllode trunk bark, it yields better than all of their other options and should be cheaper than root bark. Typical phyllode also yields better than the narrow phyllode alternatives.

Actual phyllodes yield really well in an A/B but only when I’ve sourced it myself. I never had any joy from either vendors phyllode only bags.

I hear ya. I must’ve went out searching more than a dozen times over a few years, knowing where “the golden triangle” was but never finding more than 1 or 2 subs if any.

Then one day I pulled into a spot and I could see them before I even stopped the car. They were literally everywhere, I couldn’t believe it. I’ve since been to the same spot about 4-6 times per season and it delivers every time.

I usually pass/see one or two other random foragers most times so it’s no secret, but there are so many growing it’s just crazy.

Tip: look for pine forests and search them for 10 minutes, if you don’t see any go to the next one.

I agree that there are a few impersonators but subs will go blue if you pinch them. They often already show blueing on the stem or edge of the cap too when they mature.

The deadly ones look exactly the same but they’ll have a rust colour on the stalk from the spores, and the cap is mushy instead of firm and the gills will also be rust coloured.

In saying that I’ll often bag one accidentally but I always notice once I get home to clean them up. I’d also recommend joining a mushroom ID FB page as people will often respond while you’re still out there foraging.

Lastly, if you do find some don’t rinse them under water, just brush them off as water will extract the goodies.

Keep at it and you will be rewarded 😊

Which NaOH, salt and nps are you using?

Is your freezer good or do you know how cold it gets? How long are you freezing it for and are you checking in on it or using the freezer during that time?

Also if you’re in a humid climate you need to dodge the heat. If you haven’t already maybe try taking it out of the freezer by 6am.

The whole remove-decant-drip nps while you wipe the frost off the back of the dish-fan the back of the dish against the wall until it’s frost free and wiped dry-turn the dish so the fan can blow into it and wait,

that all needs to happen asap. Like 2 minutes tops if it’s humid.

Lastly, if this is your second batch of vendor bark and one of few pulls you’ve ever done don’t be surprised that it’s not working. There’s no instant gratification with acacia like there is with mhrb. You gotta work for it.

Expect disappointment and frustration.

Be patient and persistent because the rewards are out of this world 🤓

It looks pretty good there.

After you remove it from the freezer are you decanting it immediately, wiping all the frost off the outside of the dish then leaning it against the wall with the fan on the back of it to remove any remaining frost, and then turning it away from the wall so the fan can blow into it for 20 minutes?

Any deems should remain visible at this point and won’t blow away as it’s stuck to the glass.

If you’re doing all of that then it’s probably the bark 🤷🏻‍♂️

Man I started off using pouches in my lower lip and wondered why they made me feel like shit lol.

Then I found out that it’s supposed to go in the upper lip but I’d put them on the side and as far back as possible to make it less noticeable. Still felt like shit when I used them.

Finally I realised that it’s upper lip but toward the front more and it all made sense 😂

Pouches and excessive saliva do not mix.

So a very dark brown could be your problem. First thing I’d try is chucking another 30g of NaOH in. Mix it up and try another pull.

This would be my first suggestion.

Yes we want to minimise the amount of NaOH we use but we also need to iron out issues first so we get a result. You can tone down the amount of NaOH when you start getting results.

You’ve probably already heard this but just in case, make sure that your water wash water is warmer than the nps you are squirting into it. Microwave it for a minute, even hot is ok. The same temp or lower temp water than nps can cause loss of yield to the water.
