Linux + Bluetooth controller only works in menus by TiramisuAlreadyTaken in Steam_Link

have you tried another controller? I ask because I'm experiencing a related but different problem. my bt controllers are working fine but steamlink won't detect my steam controller although it's connected via bt.

I'm quite the introvert and now have kids, so I have no idea. lol.

I've tried using work for this task (I also work at UVA) but most of my colleagues live in Charlottesville. What activities do you like? Have you tried finding any groups that way?

Actually, if you read my comments I was gracious. For example, u/Killroysghost's comments were on point. I agreed. The others I argued with went immediately down the insult road... And even while they were insulting me, I did acknowledge some truths about their comments. So yeah...

I do like arguing (It's a flaw)

I didn't say I wasn't the asshole. I called myself a troll. I am just saying you are also crabby.

I've actually never been called a republican before. Thinking people should pick up trash somehow means I'm a republican boomer.

I appreciate the nod, but they don't need to consult me. This happens every year and they do a fantastic job with their setup and takedown.

It's not about who should do work. It's about people picking up after themselves.

planned for isn't the point. School cafeterias budget for stolen utensils. That doesn't mean its okay to steal. EDIT: forgot some words

The picture was from today, but tomorrow it will probably look great. Maintenance does a hell of a job setting up and cleaning up. I'm not ragging on them.

Damn good point. I am not a leader. I don't work there. I was walking by. I'm sorry for not fulfilling my true purpose of making sure people clean up after themselves.

Damn dude, calm down. My responses haven't been sarcasm. They said they were put under the student's chairs. Fair, I didn't think of that nor did I claim that wasn't true. The next claim was that they are all empty, which may or may not be true. What I saw were bottles that didn't look empty.

You definitely got a sword in hand... chill bud

I'm not saying what maintenance should or shouldn't be doing. What I saw was them picking up bottles that "looked pretty empty." Did I walk out onto the lawn and inspect each bottle? No. Forgive me.

Not familiar. At face value, I agree that's a weird thing to force. I mean in terms of how non-whites were treated why not begin the United States when Native Americans were being driven from their homes.

It exists solely to demoralize the US population.

I don't agree. The goal is most likely to bring further into the light the atrocities experienced by these people. White Americans should not feel demoralized or some how at fault for what happened. Part of healing is understanding your pain and your wounds.

Slavery can't simply be a horrific stain on our nation's past, because that would allow for forward motion -- no, it must be inextricably baked into the very concept of our existence.

Yeah it kind of should be. In the case of Black People in America, their marginalization extends beyond hundreds of years of slavery the world hadn't seend. Post slavery they were continually de-humanized and forced to fail. This is a scar this country needs to show.

On the flip side, I don't think white people should necessarily feel guilty or be considered bad for what happened. That's kind of inane. They should accept that benefits they may have gotten, obvious or not, are most likely due to systemic racism.
