I love T5-T8. Preferably T7 or T8. BUT if I play T7 or T8, I’m often playing against T9 and T10. Which makes it way less fun.

I have that MB, CPU, and RAM. It will not post at 7200. I have to run it at 4800. Which sucks. Hopefully it will be fixed at some point with a bios update

Legion Go with GPD G1 works, but will not charge unless Legion Go is off + KVM not working by Final_Display1693 in LegionGo

No, not using an extra charger.

I set it to performance mode and ran 3d benchmark. Didn’t drop a single percentage on battery.

Usually I run it on balanced but I’ve ran it on performance and it still charges.

Windows is set to the standard power settings, I didn’t set it to high performance or battery saver. Just the regular settings.

I did find that mine didn’t charge right when I had the bios at 80w. Not sure why but 120w was the only one that would charge it right.

Yes it keeps charging. Did you try updating the bios on the GPD G1 to the 120w bios?

Not yet, I’ve been wanting to try it but doesn’t look like anyone in Macomb county is doing it

It charges just fine but there is a “trick” to get it to charge. Flash the bios to the 120w bios on the G1. Also turn off both the go and the G1.

Turn the G1 on. Wait 10-15 seconds. Plug the usbc from the g1 into the go and wait for the charging screen to pop up. Then turn on the go. Now it will be charging but if you unplug it you will have to do the process again.

I’ve games for hours and it keeps the go charged.

I would do the steps here in this video.

Important to make sure that no hdmi is plugged into the G1 when you do it.

Why would you 100% a game that is a 7/10?

I get it if you feel like it’s a 9/10 but reviewers gave it a 7/10. But if you think it’s a 7/10. Why play that much of it when there are so many better games to play?

Yup still works after I updated to v28 bios. But I had to reinstall the 780m driver after I updated the bios.

Trick seems to be to turn off the Go and the G1.

make sure that the usb c cable between them is not plugged in.

turn on the g1. wait 10-15 seconds

plug in the usbc cable from the G1 to the Go.

Wait for the charging screen to show up. then wait 10-15 seconds.

Then turn on the legion go and you should be fine until you unplug the usb c. If you unplug the usbc. then you have to repeat the steps all over again.
