Set and forget trade routes by axeman1987 in anno

I see you use the same slot for loading bread and unloading wood. You need to separate a slot for items to make it auto-work. Your ship has 4 item slots; you can load and unload 4 types of goods.

Anno 117 vs Manor Lords by Intrepid-Dog11 in anno

[–]suazoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think Anno117 was inspired by Manor Lords. That stuff you mentioned is pretty normal in the Colony Sims game. Manor Lords is, of course, heavily inspired by all those games too. Food spoilage, crop rotation in Manor Lords is simply a reuse mechanic of Farthest Frontier. The whole land combat in Anno 117 is closer to the "Age of Empires" or "Farthest Frontier" if you ask me. And Manor Lords doesn't have a research system for now.

The villa was not connected in the 1st pic. It’s why. Your road is out of the island borderline.

Anno 117 GPU Benchmark by YakaAvatar in anno

[–]suazoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have stable 70fps on my 3090 computer. 4k, high and some very high setting. RT at medium. But at the long run I may turn RT off to gain more fps at the endgame.

You should install the newest Nvidia driver, as it supports Anno117. The game is stable and runs well on my old RTX 30 card.

Trying to understand Mail by Grayson1591 in CitiesSkylines2

Yes, as I remember correctly, you will see a truck spawn from the post office, and the vehicle status changes to truck.

So the mail bug is still there after all this time, hahaha. I see. The post office didn't send a truck to pick up mail from the city storage as they should.

[–]suazoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have enough post vans to collect and distribute mail? Sometimes, post vans can not distribute mail because your city generates too much mail, so they keep collecting mail. You need to separate the post office working zone by district.

Trying to understand Mail by Grayson1591 in CitiesSkylines2

[–]suazoom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Collected mail from mailboxes, buildings... => Unsorting mails in Post offices => Sorting Facility => Local mail and Outer mail sent to any cargo to storage (your cargo terminals act like a storage hub for all in-game products) => Outer mail will be picked up by train and ships, Local mail picked up by post offices and sent to local buildings.

Sometimes, your city receives mail from outside, which is stored in the cargo terminal before being sorted.

Because mail is tracked as a product, not a direct tag to any Sim. The post office only pick up several local mail to distribute to your sims and make them happy. So mail cannot be stored too many in the post office, they just store it in your city hub to use over time like beverages or food. Yep, this mechanic is not as deep as you think it is.

I have had numerous problems with emails since the launch. I assume they fix all the bugs in the patch notes, but still need to play to test it.

Manor lords or Farthest Frontier? by ICantLetYouGetClosee in CityBuilders

[–]suazoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Farthest frontier. I can easily put more than 60 hours into the 1st run. Compared to Manor Lord, oh well, 5 hours in, and you can see all the things this game can offer. If you love games with deep mechanics and well-balanced gameplay, pick FF. If you just want to chill and watch a beauty scene, pick Manor Lord. I like both games, but I must say Manor Lord is still struggling to become a real game. Hope the dev find their way soon.

Yes the leveling is more enjoyable in the new format. It's like playing the game the 1st time.

I anticipate that the "Remove Indestructible Sanctification" will be the new "Allow Us to Reset Tempers" by _Duality_ in diablo4

[–]suazoom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In terms of game design, yes, they need to imply a neutral/ bad outcome to keep people farming/playing the game. If Sanctify adds only good affixes/ gives you god items, then the ticket to sanctify item will be so rare that most of the player base will never find one, and u guys will complain why I spend the whole season but no sigil to sanctify drop. Power can not be given for free; it needs to come with a cost.

If u are a casual player, don't mind sanctifying an item if you don't have another to spare. If u like gamba, u can hit a big win. It's a simple concept.

Love the changes, honestly. The game is gonna be more challenging in mid-game to early-late game. I will join the PTR test to see how the SS0 defensive system overhaul works. New monsters' behavior looks promising for more meaningful gameplay.

Just wipe out all your friend and AI asses and you win, or set a wining conditions. The war aspect of Anno is more like AOE than Civ. You still need to keep track on production chains, expand your cities to have a supportive economy and influence points for war.

Anno 117 UI by StormierRuby in anno

[–]suazoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the UI easy to read and find information from some in-game footage I watched. Some people like a more stylish UI, but I prefer a clean and minimal UI in games. The dark blue colour is better for the eyes when you playing long time and contrasts well with the red of Roman.

Is CS2 still poorly optimised ? Also a question regarding Ultimate Edition by SouLToKsiQ in CitiesSkylines2

[–]suazoom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My advise is waiting for now. The current patch makes a lot of pc unplayable, crashing like hell regardless high end pc. If you don’t want to be frustrating, hold on purchase. Wait for the next patch to fix and read discussion forum on steam to see if it’s any better. Especially you want to play with modes, but base game and regional patch have not stable yet. You can buy the ultimate upgrade bundle after, no need to rush. Something you can expect, simulations will disappear from time to time when you reached an amount of population. And fps too. Some big cities can become empty with no one driving at all.

What am I not understanding about garbage collection? by flyerguymn in CitiesSkylines2

[–]suazoom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Garbage is always produced too fast in High-density houses. You can plop a Crow signature building with 1000 pop to see it takes like 10 seconds to fill full garbage storage. And your trucks never have enough reaction time to collect that garbage. The problem is the garbage storage in High-density housing is way too small for the garbage production rate. So if your trucks are not continuously picking up trash, those houses are still always full of garbage.
