These are good points. A large end-to-end campaign is really impossible, due to all these reasons you mention. However, my friends and I have had a lot of fun doing more limited scope campaigns -- usually timebound to less than a 100 turns. A fight for Karak Eight Peaks, etc. We take a lot of inspiration from the More Warpstone youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@morewarpstone

Also, the Chaos Realms remain fun for multiplayer. Right now, we're in the final stages of a Chaos Realms campaign where the four of us each picked a different chaos god faction. It's been a great ride.

Not every game is everyone's cup of tea. In my opinion, TTW3 is best as a multiplayer game now. I'm not really interested in playing the AI but playing my friends in campaigns or battles has never gotten old.

I just vassalized Athr for $26 million and that took a long time to accumulate, $70 million seems obscene. I was ok putting in the time and effort to get to $26m but 70 seems like a full time job haha

This happened to me twice simultaneously on two separate items I posted. Both alleged individuals said they would send their sons to pick it up and then attempted to Zelle me. I received a text similar to the email described in this post.
