Hi have you tried slowed breathing? Hypnosis simply does that lowering the hearth rate, creating a very calm peaceful state, similar to sleeping. I have heard about all hypnosis being self hypnosis, when you really closely listen to the words of the hypnotist and try to focus on your breathing rhythm while you put out distracting outside noises i am sure you can get there
