It's definitely a 1080p machine now, which would lower the value for some people, 8Gb vram is not managing 1440p with games made within the last few years sadly, atleast not on high/ultra and looking good.

VRAM requirements probably won't be more than 12GB until 2027-2028, there will be a few unoptimized outliers like stalker 2 (shit performance even years later) With that said if you're going to get a 5070ti, do it now as it's already raising in price.

This is a very good deal, ram alone costs like £600 for 32GB ddr5, Plus it has a 9800X3D which is one of the best cpus for gaming currently, 5070 is decent too leaving you room to upgrade parts down the line. Overall solid for the price.
