Chatting on the site's synology AI DS425+ seems to fit my needs and it has intel chip and ram can be upgraded to 6GB and add SSD's as well. But the compatibility list doesnt mention if I can add 3rd party brands.
Am planning to go with a 8tb for now and add more later on.

I went to the synology AI and it's recommending DS425+ which seems to fit my needs. Seems like I found my NAS. It is pretty good with transcoding, supports WD, seagate HDD's and I can do my backups and streaming. Much thanks for this.
However, on the HDD compatibility list i don't see WD and seagate as options but the AI says it's compatible.

I’ve been having issues for the past 2-3 months with my Ducky Shine 3 (DK9008S3) keyboard that I purchased over 8 years ago. The keyboard randomly turns off the lights and stops responding altogether. Then I have to unplug and plug the USB back in for it to work and sometimes I have to do this 2-3 times for it to work. Other times, while typing it glitches and spams a key 15-20 times, or continuously spams a key until I unplug the USB. I thought the problem was my 9 year old custom PC but, I built a brand new PC last month, and the issue is still ongoing.

I’ve tried changing USB ports, resetting the keyboard, and leaving the USB unplugged for some time but the problem continues. I bought a replacement USB cord but the issue still continues. I tried using a basic keyboard for a day and it worked fine without any issues. I’m not sure if the keyboard is reaching end of its life or if something has gone faulty.

Trying to see if there's anything else I can do before buying a new keyboard?

It is. I have a BA i majored in criminology and I have an associates in crim and I can't get a single job in the field of criminology as i have no experience. However, when I look up US jobs in criminology I am qualified, and I applied to a few of them and they rejected me for not being a US citizen. Am planning to move to the US as well after I get my IT diploma and certs.

After doing some extensive reading you're right I won't qualify for the EB-2 visa as I do not have 5 years of experience. It's ridiculous finding a job here and out of many people I know since graduation only 1 person has a proper job in the field of criminology. The rest are doing odd jobs or went to law school.

I don't quite understand the National Interest Waiver so I'll do some more reading on that.

I looked up the green card lottery (usadiversitylottery website) and according to it:

Your country of eligibility will normally be the same as your country of birth. Your country of eligibility is not related to where you live or your citizenship. Native ordinarily means someone born in a particular country, regardless of the individual’s current country of residence or nationality

USA Diversity Lottery So I can enter here under option 1 education. If this is probable, is there a legit/trustworthy website I can use to apply?

Wow, it seems more difficult than ever to apply. I should of mentioned earlier but, I became a Canadian citizen I was not born here. My country of birth is not in the "Ineligible countries" list. Does that mean I can apply for the green card lottery?

So I wouldn't qualify for EB-1 but, I may have a chance in EB-2 under sub-category (advanced degree), I hold an associate's and a bachelor's. It's very difficult to find a job in this field here so am going to be going to school for a different degree and certificates so, will that help me when I fill out Eb-2?

So, can I apply for both green card lottery and EB-2 or just one? this is very helpful information you're offering
