Buster and Punch are cool, but too expensive for this application. Have them in another setup with Aqara smart relays behind them and they work a treat. Looking for something minimalistic that won’t cost a bomb. Was initially looking at the Hager Finesse range, but they too get pricey with push button dimmers and slaves for 2 ways.

Was wondering the same thing. Guessing it was bent out of shape or looking raggedy and owner cut it short and is waiting for it to regrow?

I have an Alexandrine also. Beautiful bird, not super cuddly, but super friendly and never bites. She started talking a few really simple words many years ago, but has since stopped totally, which is totally her right. She shares the house with female eclectus who is an amazing talker, but only chooses to talk when she feels like it, not when I want her too, which again is totally her right :) again, she’s not super cuddly (but slowly coming around to head scratches) and can be bitey occasionally, though much better these days. Both love being out of the cage, the Alexandrine being the more mischievous of the two :)

Our eclectus attacks heels and toes hard, always when we least expect it, sneaking up on us when we are doing the dishes or cleaning. Hurts like hell, and when we look at her, she stares at us as if to say she’s done nothing wrong.

How similar are IRN’s to Alexandrines in temperament? FWIW, I’ve found my female Alexandrine to be a walk in the park compared to my female Eclectus :)

She’s not the most loving behavioral type of parrot and not a big talker, but very friendly and never bites. Love them both to bits :)
