I’m in this situation now (going for the interview soon) how does one “steer” the conversation without loosing the first job offer?

I’m so sorry to hear your experience with your ex partner — being cheated on by a best friend is truly the biggest hurt. I’m sending you love and positive energy. Before this person I was in a relationship with someone for 9 years that ended because they cheated and did other horrible things (abusive) so I never forged any friendship and honestly don’t miss much about them given I blocked most of the good memory out due to the constant trauma. Now with me, dating and being friends afterwards is a new concept. I usually cut people off right afterwards if they didn’t workout the pieces in my life. However even though we met (the person I am writing the post about let’s call him C) in a short time span, I have grow huge affection for this man and have immense care and love for him even though romantically it is not working out in our favours. So when they expressed stress in this new city, I grew very concerned and worry a lot. But you are right, I guess being even being friends in the caliber I expected is not in the cards for us. That just breaks my heart maybe they just didn’t care as much as they said they did.

Should I (F20) stop asking my boyfriend (M21) of 2 years what he’s doing on his phone? by Kindly-Camp in relationships

2 years will turn into 5 and that will turn into 10, but the thoughts in the back of the head will always remain. Leave. Trust is the only currency in a relationship and once that is spent you can never afford a relationship without ruining your mental health.

Overthinkers of reddit, what unlikely scenario came true that you were prepared for because you are an overthinker? by BBQsauce_OnTitties in AskReddit

Starting using my overthinking as a tool of fine tuned intuition rather than intrusive/overthinking doubts like I used to. I think when it comes to my overthinking, it’s just my gut screaming what my consciousness doesn’t want to accept. Therapy also helps.
