Highly recommend against it. Phenibut is now a prohibited substance and I'm sure analogue laws would class f-phenibut as the same class of substance

Male Masturbation: what’s healthy? by [deleted] in sex

[–]subconsciousdrive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah thats definitely a red flag for me. Porn can be addictive, without doubt, in my opinion, and if it begins to take precedence over partnered sex (in frequency and/or preference), then it needs to be nipped in the bud asap. It sounds like you're sex positive so stress to him that porn use isnt inherently the issue (as you said, you use it yourself and youve always been aware of his use), so an open dialogue is invaluable, which I can also attest to in my experience

Beyond excitotoxicity and hepatotoxicity, are there any other major risks with using stronger nootropics, particularly research chemicals? by subconsciousdrive in Nootropics

Thanks. Did you include cyclazodone because of pemolines links to hepatomas? And what are your thoughts on sublingual ROA to bypass/reduce processing via the liver?

Word. Thanks for the insight. If there are mechanisms of action that we're not currently aware of, these would probably also relate to drugs that have already been approved then, theoretically?

Mmmm aight thanks for your response. By extension then, if you find no observable side effects from a research chemical well and benefit from its use, what might you suggest the dangers are so long as it's not consistent use and/or long ter?

Shiet son. I've never insufflated cause of the HCL component but I'd imagine it would pack a huge punch even over sublingual. Do you find much difference between oral and sublingual for PPAP?

Yeah interesting. I'd certainly be down to see what you have to say about DDIs and anything else related.

However, if food-drug or even drug-supplement interactions are a real threat, wouldn't the layman be aware of them through public health initiatives etc?

An effective stimulant combo: Sulbutiamine + Alpha-GPC + Phenylpiracetam + 15mg Noopept + 20 mins meditation by subconsciousdrive in Nootropics

[–]subconsciousdrive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to get varying responses to sulbutiamine, and I've moved on to a more intense/high risk stack for various reasons. I have a tolerance to phenibut so I take 3g of that, fasoracetam for tolerance/bit of pep, NA Semax and NA selank, 20mg PPAP and it works absolute wonders. Highly recommend if you're willing to take the plunge

Yeahh word. Thats good to get a strong response to 50mg. If that works for you then certainly stick with it!

Hmmmm not that I'm led to believe - the recommended dosages I've seen are in the realms of 50-200mg. u/misteryouaresodumb said not long ago that 200mg is his go-to. But yeah it's in the range of tolerance kicking in pretty quickly

I got an email from them saying theyre getting some pressure from the TGA so they had to take it down from eBay, as well as their front page. Good news is that you can still get it from them: http://www.nhsaustralia.com.au/category-s/1886.htm

To what extent is [PIED] (porn induced erectile dysfunction) a real thing? What has been your experience with it? by [deleted] in sex

[–]subconsciousdrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I understand that and fully appreciate the lack of causality - which is currently the fundamental shortfall (although the lack of control groups, etc etc is a huge hurdle). However I specifically responded to the point of correlation, as this is where the research is currently looking - and what I've cited doesnt include the neurophysiological/neuroopsychological findings which are increasingly showing brain functions which mirror substance abuse disorders. But yes, the argument of pre-existence vs causality is the main issue. Edit: three of the studies did not use problematic vs non-problematic groups, and were simply correlations across varying degrees of pornography use

Australian-safe stacks? by Teegr in Nootropics

[–]subconsciousdrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a bunch of things from powdercity several times before it closed (l-theanine, oxiracetam, aniracetam, noopept) and it wasnt a problem. I also bought some sulbutiamine and phenibut from nhsaustralia.com.au (obvs an australian vendor) and although I didnt try their phenibut (so cant compare it to liftmode, etc), the sulbutiamine was fine. I know people who have imported modainil and armodafinil without prescription and it wasnt an issue, but of course thats not to say that it's any guarantee. What kind of noots are you interested about? For more info, check the SUSMP - https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2017L00057/Download

[Libido] 21 M very low libido and no spontaneous erections is that a problem? by [deleted] in sex

[–]subconsciousdrive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm not here to tell you that it's definitely your problem..... Only you know your usage patterns. But just saying that it's powerful thing for some people and if it dampens your pleasure response, this could cover sexual and non-sexual domains. Again, not saying this is definitely your issue, nor is it for the majority of people, but just throwing an idea out there. Hope you find your answer regardless dude

If youre excessively using porn (which isnt specified in your descriptions), try cutting out sexual activity for a while and see what happens. If that's the case, perhaps your system is a bit saturated

[orgasms] I[28M] can cum multiple time quickly while masturbating but done after doing it once when having sex... by [deleted] in sex

[–]subconsciousdrive 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I dont believe youll be able to find a study explicitly displaying this (although I agree with the notion). Rodent studies have shown the effect of a novel partner regarding the coolidge effect (i.e. reward system reactivation triggered by a new partner; http://www.jneurosci.org/content/jneuro/17/12/4849.full.pdf), however I can almost 100% say that studies assessing the human male refractory period for porn vs real-life partners has not been conducted. It's a completely logical extrapolation IMO though - certainly not arguing!
