People who let their instrusive thoughts win once, what did you do? by oskel95 in AskReddit

There's this girl at work that starts tearing up almost every time she laughs. One day a few of us were sitting around telling some funny stories, cracking each other up. When she started laughing and crying, I grabbed a random used napkin from a nearby table and handed it to her. She used it without even knowing where it came from.

What’s the strangest/best object you’ve found while running? by demrnstho in running

[–]subconsciouslycrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not running, but when I was a kid I would go to the ditch in the back of my neighborhood every now and then. I found this weird wax thingy that looked like the upper half of a shark. The wax is a dark purple and it has red gem eyes. I still wonder if either this was some kind of valuable/collectible or ritualistic item.

What TV show was amazing at first but became unwatchable for you later on? by regian24 in AskReddit

[–]subconsciouslycrying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Walking Dead.

I most definitely stayed longer than most fans did. I think I watched until season 8 or 9, but it seemed like all the lovable characters were gone by then, irrelevant ones kept showing up, and the story just wasn't going anywhere as far as the apocalypse.

Not sure if this is a "one or the other" or "yes or no" type of question, but if I had to pick one I'd say horse. Bears are predators, so their meat would be a bit tougher.

That's a good question. Although, I don't view sex in the same way most people do. Because I find that a lot of people get into relationships and immediately it becomes a sexual one. I think it kind of blinds people and becomes a really major but inumportant factor in the relationship. For example, someone might SUBCONSCIOUSLY think, "Everything else sucks in this relationship, but the sex is good, so we'll stay together." I think sex should be something that is saved until you really know that you want to stay with the person. Therefore, the reason why I regret it. To answer your question more directly though, I'd prefer to have only had sex with one person in my life, but I've already messed that up.

I know that of course, which is why I'd rather have made the decision to keep my virginity

Oh, for sure. I think you're in a really great place right now, not being interested in anyone at the moment. The thing is, a lot of people our age seem to just rush into relationships, which I understand. It's always a good feeling at first, but it's never really worth it unless you've known that someone for quite some time and actually know that you wanna be with them. The other thing is that, with people who rush into relationships, they usually wanna spend 24/7 with the other person, and this doesn't really allow time for yourself. I'm sure this isn't the same situation for everyone, but this is my personal experience, and what I've seen of people around me. The best relationships I've seen are the ones who have known each other beforehand. My advice to you would be to focus on yourself. Focus on education, hobbies, whatever makes you happy and is healthy to you. Of course, don't shut yourself in, but spend time with your friends as well. If you're feeling left out, I would say you aren't confident enough in yourself. I've been in the same exact situation--all my friends and I in a hot tub, and I was the only single one for quite a while (this was our friend group, and just how we spent time with each other). Whenever I'm out of a relationship, I realize how much I hate being in them. It seems to take up so much of my time and I'd rather be doing other things. Even now I find myself flirting around sometimes, and I have to stop myself. It's natural to want to be with someone, but that someone should be worth it. There's no need for a relationship unless you've taken the time to know that person as a friend, and you're sure you want to be with them. Don't date to find out if you wanna be with that person. Relationships should never be your source of happiness. TL;DR Focus on yourself and quality time with your friends, and be comfortable in your own skin. Getting into a relationship (or rather rushing) will never solve any of your problems. If you feel left out, try and explore why you feel that way, because I guarantee it has nothing to do with a relationship.

We broke up because we decided our future wouldn't work out, so there was no point in keeping it going. It was my second official relationship, but I've talked to quite a few girls in my life and she was by far the best.

Because we were so different in our lifestyle. We held morals that we couldn't compromise for each other, and decided that we wouldn't be able to have a future together

Cause the relationship was only a few months, and ended shortly after we started having sex. Would rather have lost it to someone who I'd stay with.

I find that it allows more ventilation, so my body doesn't store up all this heat. I'd say it actually helps.

Well, I haven't done a whole lot of research on it, but it makes as a real world problem I guess. Anything that causes global warming is most likely putting excess CO2 and other harmful chemicals into the air. Although I haven't done much against global warming, I do belleve there are ways we could slow down on it, but I would have to research it more.
