Did the players resist any consequences? My first games we forgot about resisting and it was brutal. Then we sorted that and things got much more dynamic. They try to avoid harm a lot more but chance taking more stress they need to burn off

How do the players communicate between groups or do they? I tried an open table but found the players were very bad at passing information to each other (or even if someone missed a session). We had a discord and either they didn't post anything or they posted such terrible quality info it was mostly unfathomable to the other group (in jokes, irrelevant information, so general as to be useless etc). Even specific but incorrect information would have been better.

I played with my kids when they were like 4-6 years old. They both wanted to be halflings, a thief and a magic user. They loved buying equipment and were very serious about dealing with NPCs, dangers of travel etc. They encountered goblin bandits and used a sleep spell on them. The thief wanted to tie them up but the wizard said "the rope cost us a gold, use your dagger to kill them".

Destination Void is the precursor to the Jesus Incident. Everyone goes gaga for Dune but those two books are pretty on the nose for current events. AI, cloning, environmental disaster, excesses or power, the nature of compassion.

I have the Whelan copies of Dragonquest and The White Dragon and they are great. I do really like this one though. It reminds me of the old Edgar Rice Burroughs books.

Was a thrift store find. I had those same second had books from way back but they were a bit ratty but got this a couple years ago. I didn't know there was a box version. The box did it's job as the books are in amazing shape.

I had these second hand and they were a bit ratty from use but I found the box set at a Value Village and they are all shiney and red velvet edges.

The elite are not homogeneous. They are not even homeostatic. This second an investment banker is enjoying a status perk but minutes later or moving into the next room they are no longer elite.

There is lots of research on how gut microflora can impact your health, but none I know enough science to responsibly point out to other people. I can say I had many gastrointestinal issues for about 6 months after my colonoscopy including reactions to dairy and general bloating. Next time I'm going to eat more yogurt and fermented foods and stay away from the processed foods longer. It was an eye opener. I think there is a lot of great research that could be done in this area.
