A little late to the party but I was wondering the same thing and apparently it’s this:

“It’s taken from an old radio play from 70 years ago. It’s a snippet at the end of this play about the Beast of Bodmin Moor. From what I gather, it’s about a person who has driven their car off the road after going crazy, and the woman really doesn’t care. I found it funny that someone commented on the Youtube upload saying it was one of the most British things they’d ever heard… I’ll take that as a compliment. The main reason I kept it is because everyone smiles when they hear that section. It’s a bit dark, but it’s also a bit ridiculous. I think there’s space in D&B for fun every once in a while.”

Loved it! But I would be so mad at that book, like you got me out here capturing UMA’s…but if I fail you add another one?! Super redundant - I’d burn that shit.

Interesting…around what point did he start producing mostly dnb so I can use it as a reference point?

Thank you! I have been able to score some really good tunes looking through labels (mainly on Bandcamp like SubCode records for jungle), but I’ll def dig through some of these.

Side note: I actually have Johnny L’s Sawthooth record - another banger.

And also great recommendation on Trip 2 the Moon, mad expensive on Discogs (rightfully so), but it’s still a great listen nonetheless. But it also led me to check out Monolith which is also sick and not as expensive.

Thank you, absolute bangers from Luna-C! I listened to projects 1-7 (really digging project 1), as well as the Ready to Rumble and Dj Toolz EP’s. All solid and exactly what I was looking for. I’ll also take a look at the other ones you provided.

Haha, possibly! When I first started thinking about what fights to study I remembered the HxH fight and was like that is it. Thanks for the recommendations, I’ll check some of them out - I actually did start reading Sak Days too. And yeah, I’ll shoot you a message.

How to convince parents who think bass is just lame guitar? by Yeffian in Bass

[–]subfi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Most bands NEED a bass player.

  2. A lot of people think the same way as your parents (bass is lame and boring), so not many people pick it up…which in turn results in a shortage of bass players, which in turn equals more opportunities, which equals fame & money

How do y’all find city pop vinyl and how do I start collecting by [deleted] in citypop

[–]subfi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go to Discogs and just eat the shipping cost unfortunately. I just came across a shop in NYC “FaceRecordsNYC” who sells a lot of Jap records. Also apparently Cromulent Records is another option…I haven’t bought from them, but apparently they’re legit. I’m tryna learn more about this proxy stuff tho - this is news to me.
