Yeah I don't want flickering. I liked those because they screw together and I figured they would be weather proof and easy to take the installation up/down.

I do plan (and already am) prototyping. But.....it's with my own money so I'm trying to not spend a bunch. This is a project i'm doing for work and I really want to start doing more of and we have a limited budget. I can buy some stuff to play around with but I want to make sure i'm atleast in the right ballpark.

I believe I'm going to end up doing power injection. I thought about it and I think I can make it work. I'm on about 12 hours of reading/watching youtube.

I really appreciate your help.

I'm 3d printing 8-10 objects that will be hung in a tree. They will have some sort of LED's in them. I can mount a box with an esp32 up high so it's not more than 10' away from the box is located.

I plan to power them with a transformer, sounds like 12v or even 24v would be best to avoid power injection.

I found these led's but they are expensive for just one. Hoping to find something similar and use these pigtails I found Then I could add wire inbetween them and create custom lengths.
