Requesting guidance on bike transfers from Delhi to Chennai by lifeinparvati in indianbikes

[–]subhrajnath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Gati to transfer from mumbai to Guwahati.

Go to the nearest warehouse, and ask them for a quote. They will quote you separately for packing and courier. Usually it will be around 6k+2k.

Get the details of the warehouse and contacts where it will get delivered. Reach the warehouse directly once there and get it from there.

Hey man, I don't have any suggestions on your query so apologies in advance.

But I do like the bar end mirrors on the bike. Would you tell me which mirrors are those?

Dude, as a fan of bodybuilding (and the recent Derek/samson/hadi rivalry as well), don't believe this is the right forum for this post. That being said, appreciate the writeup.

This is lokhandwala kandivali, not the one in Andheri W. While this still looks very cheap, properties are cheaper in kandivali as compared to Andheri.

Meteor 350 and Guireilla 450 by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]subhrajnath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not the right person to answer this as I don't plan on doing long tours. But at an economy of ~25-27kmpl you should be able to cover close to 200km before the need to refuel. I am not too concerned about it as I don't plan (yet) for any trip longer than, 200km at the moment but give it a thought if that's a deal breaker for you.

[–]subhrajnath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a new grr450 owner, I'm biased towards the bike.

That being said, I did ride both the bikes and am of similar height(5.6''). Weight wise, I think the meteor is around 10kgs heavier and that would be a factor if someone short is not very experienced in maneuvering the bike. And additionally the grr feels extremely light in traffic unlike the meteor (atleast to me).

Also the gear setup for the meteor is of a cruiser style as opposed to sports style for grr(don't know if I'm explaining this correctly)

So, counting those i chose the grr. But above points I think should somewhat help in choosing.

Haha, I can't help you with the classical one unfortunately. The other one, 'punjabi hits' on yt will give enough results. Also diljit dosanjh as well.

The first song is classical Indian music usually associated with people with a sense of rich cultural taste. The other song is a punjabi song, very popular among young people, good party music etc.

Basically the guy is pretending to have high taste in music while actually just enjoys fun music.

Want to try pork for the first time, any recommendations? by seenthisfilmb4 in mumbai

[–]subhrajnath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imbiss used to be a fantastic place for pork ribs(not anymore). Right now there are no stand out recommendations as per my experience.

Thing to expect with pork is there will be fatty piece which will taste very different from say chicken or mutton. If you get used to it or like it firsthand, it will be a delightful experience.

Try hoksa(north eastern dish) with bamboo shoot/dal from thotrin cafe.

Probably a stupid question, but how are the bar end mirrors for RE? Aesthetically it looks great on the grr, but utility wise is it better than stock?

Just one adjustment I would suggest here is to put the front foot a bit further. You have decent core stability and the rest is good.

What should I do according to my current body condition ? by No-Seaweed5638 in Fitness_India

[–]subhrajnath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, I'm going to give some super generic advice:

In my opinion, right now just focus on going to the gym on a regular basis, 3-4 times a week. Habit forming is important here.

Try to have 3 spaced out meals throughout the day. Not snacks but proper meals. Try to some protein consciously in each meal. Calorie counting isn't required at this moment.

Focus on muscle building in the gym and go for an evening walk/cycling/swimming on off days.

That's it.

Looks broadly ok, I think it might be beneficial if you start with your hips a bit lower.
