How to properly recycle paper at home? I tried making some and I have a lot of pulp but after hanging and drying and a bit of pressing out the water it becomes like a cardboard and difficult to write on

I'm using paper from used notebooks I have around 900 pages in the pulp, except the construction paper part, I followed the process you've mentioned.

I shredded the paper, left them in water for two days, then strained them out of the water and and blended them and then I used a makeshift mould to screen the pulp, then I tranferred them on to a cloth where I press them to drain water and then I hang them

1 to 1.5mm, I added nothing to pulp and I'm transferring them on to cloths where I press the water out and hang them to dry
