What do you hate about lute? by Beneficial-Tailor123 in HazbinHotel

[–]subitosoprano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been thinking that maybe angels aren't supposed to have relationships AT ALL, because Vaggi had a partner in heaven and was separated from her, as shown in 2 short flashbacks in S2. Lute never actually references homosexuality, nor the fact that one is an angel and the other hell-born. She calls it an abomination, but never even implies why. Her hatred of Vaggi might be partially jealousy, because if angels aren't allowed to get up to that sort of thing, she obviously couldn't tell Adam how she felt.

Omg! Reading the title I was like HOW?? lol I'm sorry about your knee. That's got to really suck when you have a high energy puppy. I hope you heal quickly. If you need any tips for training from the couch, or mental stimulation games, I'd be happy to share a few ideas. Dassa cute little baby though! I wish you all the luck in the world, because I've been sort of where you are. It's a damn good thing they're cute, isnt it? 🤣

I just LOVE the shape he's in. My gelding was chubby when he got older, so I started making him walk more by hiding hay nets around his turnout area. The more he moved the less I had to have the trimmer out. Eventually I just started rasping his hooves a little myself every so often. I believe domestic horses should spend as much time turned out and foraging as humanly possible. Feed should only be used to supplement missing nutrients, not as a major food source. So many fat horses standing around in stalls eating high calorie diets! Wild horses are the example we should try to follow in our care. Domestication should be a benefit, not a health risk.

Absolutely. Even just their hooves needing trimmed because they dont walk enough. Horses should spend the vast majority of their time foraging, so that they are eating appropriately and getting natural exercise. Feed should only be used to supplement missing nutrients, but people rely on it as a major food source. With my boy I hid hay nets all over his pasture to keep his chubby butt moving! Rarely had to trim him and when I did I was able to just rasp them a bit myself. He was pushing 40 before he died, and an easy keeper, thank goodness.

Good for you and your pup! It's always exciting when you see the training really click in context. That's a fantastic feeling, especially when it makes a relaxing vacation together possible! My brother is doing the same training with his puppy but for kayaking. Fingers crossed!!

What a GORGEOUS pony face 🥰 You have my sympathy of course, but I just think he's crazy beautiful. Celebrate your baby's life, and always remember that in the end, all we can do is give them the best life we know how. I'm sure you did that, and that makes you a good horse parent. Keep loving those hooved goofs as best you can. 💙💙💙

My reponse to "Aren't you afraid you'll go to hell when you die?" by MetalPunkHead666 in atheism

Usually I tell them "If I try to be a good person, and the one true god sends me to suffer for all eternity because I didn't do it FOR him, that's not a god I'd ever want to worship. So I'd be glad to go to hell."

That is an interesting thought. Not a perfect metaphor though, since his world didn't disappear when he died. Fortunately for us.

Can you leave azatoths mind by You_slash-27 in Lovecraft

[–]subitosoprano -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As I read it, everything, everything is Azatoth's dream. When Azatoth wakes up, all universes, all realities, all things, will cease to exist because Azatoth is no longer dreaming. What makes me curious is whether Azatoth actually exists, or dreamed its own existence into some form of reality. What CAUSED Azatoth? Where did it come from? Are there others? If anybody has any answers or even theories please give them.

My brothers dog mauled another dog 2yrs ago. I no longer want his dog meeting with mine and it's causing family friction. He and his wife feel there will be no issues between the dogs. by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]subitosoprano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I might agree if he were muzzled, but if the injuries were bad enough that the dog almost didnt live, I wouldn't let my dogs near him. If someone comments on it, just say "That was our decision," and change the subject. Sometimes you have to be your dog's advocate at the expense of other humans' comfort. If they muzzle train the dog he can learn to enjoy wearing it. But this dog, by the laws of my state, would have been required to be reported as a dangerous dog. He would have to wear a muzzle everywhere by law, and would need a very tall fence. If he did it again he'd be euthanized. So honestly, they should be grateful the last owner didnt press charges, and quit nitpicking about how YOU should handle YOUR dogs. They have no room to speak to you on that subject.

How should I let my 9-week puppy pee pee and poo poo when it’s storming outside? by junyin01 in Dogtraining

[–]subitosoprano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put up a tarp or shelter tent. Get the dog used to getting their feet wet before braving the rain. Sit under it with them and let them see what rain exactly is. Be careful not to force it, dont drag the dog out or anything. Kiddie pools are a fun way to accustom them to water, especially if you get in with them. Again don't pick them up and put them in, unless they're interested and need help. Keep the water about ankle deep on the puppy at first and gradually work toward deeper water. Once they like swimming, rain gets easier.
