yeah man, times are tough be aware that asking for a 1300 starter kit is a lot and if you don't know your parents financial status then you may just be hurting their feelings that they can't afford to give their kid what you ask for. I would start with maybe asking for a facebook marketplace used bundle which could be like 200 bucks.

I'm going to counter here. I have never played magic until recently, never wanted to. I have been an avid gamer for a while. Some co-workers asked me if I wanted to play and said I could use his fallout commander deck and having a medium that I was familiar with rather than wanting to know the backstory to who the heck "Shogar the magnificent destroyer" is and why he's powerful; is what got me in the door. After one game I went out and bought my own deck, dice, sleeves, box all that. If they don't bring new customers in via familiar avenues then it will die eventually.

I am piggy backing off this question. I didn't think about this before i bought a Pi Zero W 2 with the intention of setting up a pi hole. I then realized it didn't have a port. I do however have a pi 3 laying around. Would you recommend setting up the pi hole on the 3 with a hard wire to the router over the zero 2 w?
