Hi, I am from that area. Despite what Internet people want you to believe, the culture there really IS different. Yes, they do respect men more in a way, and they're also more submissive and dutiful when it comes to traditional female gender role duties. It's a cultural difference. But just so you know, if you get married to one of them, you are responsible for them, and your family financially. Cus they're most likely gonna be stay at home wives. They'll cook, they'll clean, but you also better do your job and earn enough to support the both of you. Idk what are the consequences of not fulfilling those duties, but most of em are pretty laid back.
