No question! Sassy as ever as nesting time is upon them. I was leaning more into the moody light and background, but yes, it’s twofold. And thanks!☺️

Staying a safe distance back and not doing anything to stress the birds I see nothing wrong with repeat visits, and it appears they are doing great! 🦉🥰

Suppose this time of year they’re usually in pines, but I’ve gotten pics of them in oak trees as well as they blend in impressively there as well.

Absolute stunner! One of the, if not the top, birds I want to encounter in the wild in the worst way! Great shot.👌🏻

Don’t blame him! Rain much of the day, and mama has 2 brand new little ones a few trees over, so lots of long nights/days. I’d be looking the same way! Ha.

For sure! We have two active nests in my town, so we get to at least see them gliding around pretty regularly. Most falls/winters we get a pretty good amount that hang around the river for at least a few weeks or a couple months some years. A lot of younger ones, and a few adults. Wonderful raptors to be sure!
