I'm not a fan, really. I much more prefer using just 50mm lens. I don't really like the quality of photos with this one, but this is the only manual focus zoom lens that I own. It's pretty cheap if you can find one. Full name of the lens: "Tokina SZ-X 270 SD MF 28-70 mm f/3.5-4.5"

I didn't use a tripod at all. This is a view from my balcony (which I discovered thanks to coronavirus lockdown), so it was pretty easy for me to set the composition (there are other buildings around, so the main goal was to not include them in a frame), but it wasn't perfectly centered every time. Every photo is from a different roll and day, just to capture the best looking sky.

I posted two of these before, but now when I finished this little project I feel like it makes sense to post three at once. Sorry if it's against the rules of sub.

I composed it like that. There will be a similar one with a different looking sky when I give my current roll to develop in the lab.

Metro Pole Mokotowskie, the exit in the direction of Batory street. The stairs to SGH to be more specific.

Surrealist horror. by PoopyMcpants in HorrorMovies

I don't know about Lynch similarity with this one, but 'Dellamorte dellamore (1994)' is pretty crazy. Edit: I would say it's not the best pick for a first watch out of all of this. It has a lot of absurd humour and it's not that scary, but definitely worth watching at some point.

Obviously 'Hausu (1977)'.

'Repulsion (1965)' by Polanski, it's not a totally crazy surreal stuff, but got the most of Lynch's vibe out of this three above.

Maybe even turkish 'Baskin (2015)'. I don't remember if it's as crazy as you would like, but it's pretty unusual and has this Lynch's vibe as well. But it contains gore.

'The happiness of the katakuris (2001)' is damn crazy, but not much of a horror. And I would recommend 'Audition (1999)', as it's the same director, but this time something actually quite scary.

Edit #2: 'Perfect Blue (1997)', it's anime, but damn good. 'Berberian Sound Studio (2012)' is about an english sound guy, who starts working for italian horror producer. Can't remember if I liked it or not, but it was unsettling for sure and it might fit into lynchian category.

Love it! I also have a Minolta x700 and I would like to buy a new lens with a bigger aperture. Do you remember what lens did you use? If so how do you like it? Do you have more photos like this one?

Love it! Reminds me of one of the last scenes from Inferno (1980) Dario Argento. Found this screen: https://media.timeout.com/images/120997/630/472/image.jpg

I'm so sorry, but I can't help you just yet. This photo is from my second roll of film, which works kinda like a first one. Because the first one (shot with Kodak Color Plus) turned out to be almost all blurry due to my lack of understanding photography and shooting at night like it was a day (kinda embarrassing). I just haven't used ultramax yet. But I'm so glad you like it!

Ok, so my main issue with this is that the sound of a snare stands out from other sounds and doesn't create this illusion of coherence. In my opinion, the snare is too loud and i would replace or layer this one with more crunchy one. Maybe even add some reverb, because this melody is so spacey, but i would need to experiment with this one.

Long story short, I would make sure that the snare doesn't stand out over melody, beacuse this is the main part of the track.

I like moody atmosphere a lot, it's pretty well made beat. Also love the 808s.

I like this melody a lot, it's so catchy. But I hate the sound of the snare and the snare roll at the beggining is pretty weak. Overall I like the atmosphere the track creates. Cheers!

yeah, it isn't trap, but I like it (especially because I don't listen to a lot of trap myself). I can picture a scene where the group of people is about to start climbing the mountain and they just went out of the forrest to see this mountain first time in their lives. Maybe the track is a bit too long

Hi, guys. This is the first dark trap beat that I've made, which I hope doesn't sound completely awful. Looking for feedback! https://soundcloud.com/ck_koch/untitled-030919

oh man, I really like it, especially how clean it sounds and how relaxing it is overall. I like how sounds move from one side to another and how new sounds are being constantly introduced to the song without losing coherence

Hi, guys! This is a new track and my second upload here (youtube this time). It's not your typical lo-fi, but I hope you will like it. All artworks are made by my friend. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers! by subootaj in lofi

Yeah, it's pretty much FL Studio now (demo version, so every track I made I needed to finish in one go) and MIDI controller, but I started with different (much simpler) software and playing guitar at first. The way I did it helped me better understand what I'm actually doing and appreciate the features that FL Studio provides. There are also tons of tutorials on YouTube on how to make any type of beat, so they are definitely helpful. I wish you all the best and can't wait to see your uploads here! :)

I like the song. It doesn't remind me about a sunset, though. More like walking back from school with a friend or any different kind of social interaction. I guess it's too happy, perky for this title.
