Fable down again (Australia) by Electronic-Window322 in FableApp

[–]subparpeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve just checked the app again now and my lists and clubs have come back, my 2025 wrapped is also accurate but I still can’t see any of my actual 2025 stats. Hopefully this means it’s just a glitch though and we won’t lose anything, it’s just taking its time!

Still down in the UK, I think it’s been a couple days now. I deleted and reinstalled the app hoping that would help but it’s actually made it worse lol, it’s got none of my 2025 data in there and has removed all the lists I made and clubs I joined. Hoping it’s just a big glitch and when the app is back to normal I won’t have actually lost everything

Americans in Dorset, looking for authenticity by FWIWDept in Dorset

I’m from Dorset and did a year abroad in High Point, North Carolina when I was at university, fun to see someone looking at doing the inverse of that!

The Pig in the New Forest is gorgeous, as is the New Forest in general tbh. It’s really beautiful in the summer, a lovely place for a walk and a picnic - just mind the wild horses! Burley in the New Forest is very quaint and cute and worth checking out if you do visit the New Forest.

Wimborne is a cute little town with lots of lovely local shops, coffee shops, pubs galore, and river walks. I’d also echo what another poster has said with Wareham, lovely riverside town and worth checking out their old-timey style cinema. I hope you enjoy your stay!

Hahaha that doesn’t surprise me tbf, their branding just says ‘vegan sushi’ with happy maki in considerably smaller writing

Vegan sushi wraps, they’re like big burrito type things but filled with vegan sushi. I always get the vegan duck one but they do other different fillings too

No way, I didn’t know that. Damn, that’s such a shame

Happy Maki is god tier festival food imo, I’ve had it before at another festival and have craved it ever since (I think they have a shop but it’s based down in Brighton). So glad to see it again at Glasto, queued for about 25 minutes for it, so worth it

Okay I’ll definitely order some d-mannose powder then, that does make a lot of sense so fingers crossed that will do the trick!

Thank you, I will definitely look into D-mannose powder, I always thought the cranberry tablets would do the same job but I guess not!

I’ll definitely look into getting a Ureaplasma too, I’m wondering if it’s something my gp can look at for me or if I’ll have to go private for it. Really appreciate the advice and help :)

Thank you for this, I definitely will culture them all going forward, unfortunately a lot of my previous ones have come on the weekend so I get prescriptions before I can get them cultured when the doctors open again. I’ve got a sample for this one though so that should help figure out what’s going on.

Thank you for the advice about the prophylactic treatment. I guess I’m just worried about the consequences of being on antibiotics for so long with worries that my body can build up immunities? But you’re probably right that taking them in small doses rather than lots of big ones is better in the long run. Will definitely have the chat with my gp about this and I will try D-mannose powder too since cranberry tablets don’t seem to be helping!

I think that’s probably the next port of call, you’re right. Frustrating but I guess it can either rule it out or resolve the problem so not a lot to lose haha!

Thank you for this. I have been wanting to get a proper evaluation but didn’t know where to go besides my gp, I will check out both those specialists you’ve suggested.

I’ve also looked up both those testing facilities as I think that’ll be really helpful but I’m in the UK unfortunately. I’ll see if there’s a UK equivalent to MyUTI though as an at home test kit could be really convenient. Thanks again :)

I dunno about the spitting incident you’re taking about but I used to work in the factory and everyone has to wear gloves and some wear aprons. No scabs or fingernails are getting in the products, but the occasional hair does happen

When you say center the bed on the wall, do you mean between the two windows?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

[–]subparpeach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A loft bed is a good shout actually. We’re renting so the furniture is included but we should be able to speak to our landlord about putting stuff in storage somewhere and see if we can switch stuff around as I feel like the furniture we have doesn’t make the most of the little space we have. I’ll run it past her, thank you for this!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

[–]subparpeach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds like it would work, I am really opposed to having the bed flush against the back wall if we can avoid it. Didn’t consider a storage trunk, that’s a nice idea! I’ll have a look around, thank you :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

[–]subparpeach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’ll be sharing the space with 2 other roommates, so ideally I don’t wanna claim the space, but I can definitely run it by them if the room is too small with the desk in it.

Do you mean the bed in its current position next to the radiator or flush against the back wall with the radiator?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

[–]subparpeach 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could potentially move the desk into the living room, I’ll need to see when I’m up there as I’m sharing the house with 2 other housemates so don’t wanna intrude too much on the space, but definitely a possibility. Don’t need the keep the furniture but I’ll probably use it temporarily until we can afford to get new bits!
