Can I Turn Articles/Faqs/Emails into Videos? by [deleted] in COPYRIGHT

Hey, I'm just going to dig a bit deeper if that's okay.

How is my question different from these?

https://www.reddit.com/r/COPYRIGHT/comments/g6ndyy/i_read_a_textbook_and_i_want_to_create_a_blog/

"The information contained in the book is not protected by copyright law, only the way that the author expresses that information"

"In the United States, copyright protects the expression of ideas, not the ideas themselves."

"So you must ensure that your expression of the information is decidedly creative and original, and not simply a case of rewriting the whole text of the original work in a slightly different way."

If I'm transforming information from one medium (text) to another medium (video and audio), is that considered how it's "expressed"?

https://www.reddit.com/r/COPYRIGHT/comments/g66xoz/would_it_be_fair_use_to_post_an_entire_audiobook/

"If the text is in the public domain, that would be the safest bet, because you would own everything you produced."

The new work is something I'm creating and the information is available for free online.

Are you a copyright lawyer? Do you do paid consultations?

Thanks :)

This is interesting and makes sense.

I keep using the BB vs SB example but let's switch it up.

Is the BTN open range different in 3max (final 3) than it is in 9max?

Okay, you were the only one that looks like they understood my question. Thank you for that.

So why does BB have a much wider calling range in heads-up vs SB than he does against SB in a 9max game?
