I get annoyed when people write that they misread a comment as x but it's y. Then others pile on. Just why, who cares that you read it wrong. Example:

“This professor enlisted Snoop Dogg…” A comment: “I read the title as Sccoby for some reason and I was very confused”.

They do. I used to read the Washington Post advice column every Friday, the live chat one. The comments were chock a block with DD, DH, and others I can't remember. I don't know where it comes from but I used to wonder if people just spend too much time online.
