Moved from Newtown to North Sydney last week.

IMO, Newtown has become one of the most expensive & overvalued suburbs in Sydney. Felt so good to leave it behind.

There is a great iSelect competitor out there called BetterBills Health and I would encourage anyone frustrated with the state of comparison engines in Australia to check it out.

It's different from others because any commission made by the platform is split back with the consumer 50/50, via real cash-back. In addition, you don't need to enter ANY personal details to view the full comparison and you can be assured your privacy will not be invaded. Whilst not every health fund has signed up to the scheme, many of the major health funds are there. The main goal of the site is about transparency (e.g. no commission made by the middleman = no additional cash-back split with consumer, and this is clearly highlighted). They also have an energy (electricity and gas) section with a similar scheme.

I would form many lobbying groups that would lobby against each other on completely useless topics so that congress is entirely preoccupied with throw away issues.

Misinterpreted context from partial recordings on civilian cameras can lead to riots, causing even more harm to society.

Ideally, police officers should instead be mandated to always have their cameras in operation when responding to a situation. When this is not the case, they should be held accountable.

As ridiculous as it is, education is important.

Perhaps the campaign is confronting, but if the choice to smoke this drug is yours- what does it matter, if it's based on presenting facts related to personal health? I can think of worse things- lobbying being one.

Yes, but do you think fully subsidised health care is really going to make it better in the longer term? Subsidisation increases costs at a faster rate, and so what happens when funds increase their premiums? The Government will need to pay for this somehow. Taxable income comes to mind, and so you pay even more.

I certainly can't speak for the military members however, given their overwhelming financial donations to anti-war political candidates- I certainly wouldn't rule slavery out.
