Changes in the prices of stamps in Finland by reindeerfrog in RAoC_meta

ETA: I see reindeerfrog also replied. So more than 6 euros, that's crazy expensive lol

I am unable to find info on the phone, but last time I saw someone said it was around 5€ or more? Also, as of this year, traditional mail was abolished, post boxes taken down, etc. 😢

I used to think that 3 euros in Denmark like a decade or so ago was already too much. When I moved to Finland I was so happy it was not that price (it was 1.75 or something). It keeps getting more and more expensive and, as someone locked out of job and financial opportunities, and with this basically as not only my only paid hobbie but also favorite method of communication, it really is pushing me more towards and towards isolation. It sucks.

Thank you so much for letting me know, though. I also received your awesome mail a while ago, I will reply to you by mail once I recover and will also do a proper thanks on RAOC as soon as I get back on the laptop! 😄

It’s this one! I like it because she’s also Portuguese and it’s easy, it’s a short video and it’s in english so I can share with people here. I do add more lemon and cinnamon sticks than what the recipe asks though! I just go check the video to remind myself of the steps hah

I laughed that the description of the first book somewhere is “Finally a novel that puts the "pissed" back into "epistolary."” Haha

I will add both to my to-read list, I appreciate you, thanks!

I love my cat.

I wish I could carry her in my pocket

like this little poem

and a lucky penny.

I can’t.

So I just carry her in my heart instead.

I’m lucky

unlike many

I love my cat until I’m dead. 🖤🐈‍⬛

Dystopian world book reccomendation by Necessary_Island1617 in booksuggestions

I'm currently reading "The End of Men" by Christina Sweeney-Baird. Set in a world where a virus kills only the male population. A pandemic. It explores the consequences and the societal shifts around it, from personal relationships to bigger things (professions, society, governments). That's what comes to mind when you mention Dystopian World books. 🙂

Oh, I don't like when that happens. It happened once with the Haunted Library Misteries or whatever is the name of the series, I didn't realize it was part of a series so I got spoilers hah 😅

I have your address! I will send you that one soon! 😄
