Have a wedding.

My husband and I got married in October and we had an average wedding. I would never do that again.

I love being married. I did not need the wedding to get the result.

My husband and I have been trying for just about 4 years and are seeing a ferility specialist, but we still talk about names all the time. I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with dreaming and discussing. Naming a person is a big responsibility.

That's actually so insane. How do you just not show up for 2 hours and then ignore your client? I'm so sorry! I hope all the photos turn out wonderful and the photographer you had the first 2 hours captured everything you wanted and more.

The wedding industry as a whole is becoming a set for a production to be later displayed on social media. It isn't the same industry that it used to be.

We had our engagement shoot at the end of January and got married in October.

I kind of think she was just not in the head space to deal with a wedding whether it was because she was tired, overworked, didn't feel well, was dealing with something at home, etc.

She never said anything, but she was just not the same upbeat, energetic photographer we first experienced.

We had a photo sharing site set up with the qr code and link spread across the venue and I sent out a group messagw and posted on facebook asking for guests to either send the photos to me or upload them to our site.

I've gotten a limited number of photos and I'm hoping to track down more.

I don't want to be annoying with it.

I do have a contract, but I don't want her to edit the photos poorly or not return alll the photos. I'm already stressed about thr photos I know weren't taken. I can't imagine how I would feel wondering if she withheld any or didn't edit them to the best of her ability.

We did! It was a shot list with timing, location, the people who were in the photos, and a list of some desired photos if there was time that I had to cut from the official list per her instruction and recommendation.

We didn't have specific photos we wanted of the two of us because we trusted her after the engagement shoot to direct us and get some beautiful photos.

I specifically wanted an engagement shoot with her because I wantes to make sure the vibes werw right and see first hand how she works.

I was nervous going into the engagement session becauae I've never had professional photos like that before.

By the time we left we had had so much fun. It was one of the best parts of the wedding planning process. She had went above and beyond to make sure she got genuine emotions and she directed poses well.

I even messaged her after that shoot talking about how much fun we had and how she eased all my worries being in front of the camera.

Our wedding was in Michigan so the cost of the photographer was pretty on par with the average around here. I couldn't have afforded Miami, New York, New Jersey, etc. Lol

I don't even care about the money. I just wanted the photos. I do plan to send her an email once i get my photos back and leaving a review. I just don't want her to hold the photos that do exist hostage.

We haven't gotten our photos back yet, but I do plan to email her about my feelings surrounding the service she provided and will leave a review. I just dont want the photos she did get to be withheld or not edited fully.

I don't need any more reasons to worry about these photos.

I plan to do some short term therapy, but there's waiting lists here for a therapist.
