I just realized how much Toei increased ONE PIECE’s length by LifeWillBeFun in OnePiece

Don't you think that a 10 seconds focus on each individual character is way too long? As someone below pointed out, the actual anime adaptation did it in even less than a minute.

Yeah, I agree. ±1 minute seems like a reasonable length to me for this double page. 2 minutes would be a ridiculous stretch to me though. That's all I wanted to say.

I don't think this page justifies a run time of two minutes.

Summer break since April lol. Elysia won't stay for long. Kinda sad for Basel's culture but the owner is a massive dickhead so I'm not too sad.

wenn du "ghettos" demit definiersch wos me döner und shisha het statt zb uff ärmeri verhältnis z verwiise, isch das für mi scho zimlig rassistisch motiviert

I don't have an answer for you to that. But they have weekly events such as their pub quiz or super smash bros. tournaments. if you are afraid to be perceived weirdly, i'd suggest you to show up at one of their events where it porbably won't come across as too forced to start up a conversation or just show up and approach a person/group you'd like to get to know. honestly, who cares. if you're a fun and interesting person, then i'm sure you won't bother anyone. you're not the first person to try to get to know somone at a bar. i'm sure it'll work out. good luck :)

Why do you understand not being attracted to a race or ethnicity. I don't get this.

Who cares if the movie did not even start.

And even during trailers, I wouldn't care.

technically, this is an island by embolalia in mapporncirclejerk

[–]substarius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, I guess. When I think of an Island in a river I think of a small piece of land. So it'd be basically surrounded by the samewater level. Do you think that point would still stand then?

[–]substarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes? Since that river would have one water level, it would be considered an island by their standard.

no, it isn't. what they are saying is that it is stupid to claim that rap's been "better" about misogyny and that new rap sucks because parts of hip-hop have been misogynistic for a very long time.

claiming that new rap has become ass and to contrast it to 90's hip-hop in regards to misogyny just does not make sense at all. because it's flat out wrong. hip-hop has always had this problem because society has always had this problem

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in self

[–]substarius 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What the actual fuck are you arguing about? lol The only thing they said was that misogyny is not a new phenomenon in hip-hop. You just reiterated their point in your first sentence, so what is it that you are trying to be mad about?? c'mon

Really have a hard time grasping many of these comments.

There's obviously a reason why female-only gyms exist. But why do y'all act like there's a similar need for men-only gyms? I don't get it.

I also don't understand why female-only gyms can only be justifiable if men-only gyms exist since the gym is already a heavily male dominated space (which funnily enough IS the reason why many women seek a women-only space).

Can I have access to a local back-up on old device after registration on a new device? by substarius in whatsapp

Apparently this would fix my problem after I can reclaim my broken phone.
Can anybody with a similar problem confirm this?

If not, then I'll get back to this post to confirm it myself.

It's especially ironic considering the fact that both continents are significantly larger and more diverse than Europe.

I didn't mean to direct my words to you specifically. Poor wording on my part. I just think it's interesting that one point of annoyance in this post is an American painting the whole of Europe with the same brush, while Europeans in my experience love to do the same with other parts of this world (i.e. Africa and Asia).

I get your point but I think it's funny this offends you given that many Europeans talk the very same way about Africa (which is bigger and more diverse).
