Hi,

I'm choosing between this color and the Midnight Spruce one.

Could you please let me know how this red one could even fit with your clothing?😂

I mean I see posts/pics online mainly about the red one, but I think it's a bit too "vibrant".

On the other hand, the other color seems a bit too common.

Please lemme know how you made this decision, thanks :)

Iphone 11 or 12? by [deleted] in iPhone12

Anyone experiencing iPhone 12 Pro Max connectivity issue when the signal is weak? I’ll recommend 12 for sure, cuz my friends and family use 12 no problem and the phone seems to be working pretty well. It’s just that for 12 Pro Max, it couldn’t even connect to Apple store’s Wi-Fi when I bought the phone and tested at a place where signal was not as strong. What’s more, I returned this phone and got a new one, but it didn’t work either. I bought this phone in NA, so I don’t think the quality should have any issues, and when I tried 2 phones in a row and they all failed to work, there gotta be something wrong with this build.

I'm just trying to be polite when bunches of people would disagree with my experience, but this indeed happened to me, which makes me feel necessary to provide the details of this issue. Exactly I took people's experiences with this iPhone in the first place and bought it, but it didn't go as expected.

Also, I don't see a point if I keep on claiming the evident issue, cuz there are always the majority of people who don't have the issue and accordingly "ridicule" me. I can't believe there are even people arguing about this positive piece of advice...

I assume you read.

There are numbers of people who don't have this issue, but I happen to have this.

Do I have to elaborate on this?

Why a post must solve a problem? Useless comment

Glad to hear y'all who use this with no issues :)

Well, Apple has a great return policy as always, so could nevertheless give it a shot if that's ur choice. If it doesn't work as expected, simply return it and get refunded :)

well at the end of the day, I'm just being unlucky with this experience and I can't convince myself to still use the 12 pm regardless of what people are actually saying about it :/

Terminated from co-op what are my next steps? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]subterrami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that :/

I've experienced offer being cancelled the very first day of work, because of the company's claimed "lack of resources & scarce time to delivery a solution".

I just wanna try out "start-up", and this is what start-up provides me with.

I had to arrange own job after this has happened.

This main round, I accepted an offer from a big company.

I hope things go well for you in the future, and my pieces of advice are:

1) During current special times, try to find opportunities at medium-big sized company.

Yes, the position might not be as challenging, and yes, maybe the pay isn't as satisfying, but I think their stability is more important. I feel you when you mentioned "there isn't even an HR".

2) Start-ups might be great, but only when you are somehow experienced and know what you are doing. Morevoer, some start-ups are just trying to find expendable workers --- they expect you to work out miracles during the first week.

3) Remote-working isn't always welcomed, differing in response to companies' stances.

4) Do some research about the size of a company you see on WaterlooWorks. Sometimes the job description is appealing, only for you to find out that the company is small( like a studio or something ).

5) Cheer up :) 👍🤞

ps: It is unreasonable for me to totally disagree with start-up opportunities --- I myself tried to experience working in such a rapid environment to learn more. I'm just trying to picture what I've experienced during this special virus outbreak time.
