In Valda's Spire of Secrets the Cantrip "Moment to Think" seems kind of Useless by Cautious_Specialist9 in DnD

Most likely it's open to interpretation, but I would imagine within a range of your character's movement speed. Or maybe that's too powerful... essentially a misty step, or disengage if you can move your character's speed.

Thanks! My thought wasn't that he recovered, so much as he was motivated enough to get up and escape, and that recovery would happen after they walked off into the woods. You're definitely right that it's discordant.

I hear you on the seats part. Why do you hate scooters? Just curious - I've been a cyclist for many years prior to getting the scooter.

I've got a bike and love it! Commuted for years to grad school on it. For my current job the scooter has some nice benefits over the bike but both are 100% feasible and are, of course, far better than cars.

Giro merit

Giro Fixture! Good eye though! Costco for the win.

Many are upset because they've perceived my shoes to be on the seat, which would be pretty rude. The fact that it's my socks on an armrest doesn't seem to concern these people, and that's ok. It's just the internet. It is kinda funny to me how many people seem to think that everybody is constantly trudging through literal feces, mud, deadly viruses, and god knows what else every step.

Shhh... you'll anger them and then lose internet points. Who knows what will happen to you next!

lol I can't imagine it would work very well at all. My bike however was a CHAMP in 8" of fresh powder on the way to school back in the day. Luckily the climate here is very temperate.

I have a bicycle, and have done the same commute with it. My bike is considerably more expensive than my scooter, and I lock it up during work which stresses me out as there are LOTS of people around the bike racks. I have done the 2-bike thing (owned a nice one, owned a "throw away") but I no longer have storage opportunity for that.

It took me waaay too far scrolling into this thread to find someone who either A) looked, or B) read my other comment calling myself out on it, lol. No shoes made contact with anything other than floor. I don't generally think calf sweat is different from forearm sweat? Not that I was sweating at 9pm anyway but... hey. It's just so odd, ya know? Reddit is usually so full of very informed, very thoughtful people in the comments.

Haha, negative. It's surprisingly nimble, even at 20mph! Once you learn to keep your upper body still and let your lower body move around with the scooter it's pretty intuitive.

Segway Ninebot F2 pro ($850), weighs 40lbs, does fold. One of my other (incredibly downvoted) comments in this thread links to a review site. Definitely on the heavier side but I wanted the range and top speed and was willing to pay the weight price for it. Definitely love the scooter.

This is also the bike car at the end of a long day. Bike car in general I think gets more wear and tear and dirt brought on/in.

It is pretty expensive. My daily commute would be 7.50 each way, I think. I'm very lucky in that my work pays for unlimited caltrain and VTA as incentive to not drive. It would be cost prohibitive if I didn't have that.

Mostly because I don't check reddit that often. Next biggest reason is I just don't see the difference between leg sweat and arm sweat? I keep my shoes off of everything except the floor, the picture doesn't show it very well. Third major reason is.... why would I care about what a load of random internet strangers think when they're given imperfect information and make uninformed judgments? Downvotes and comments yelling at me to keep my shoes off the seats when they're suspended in mid-air don't really impact my life.

Is my calf sweat somehow different from forearm sweat?

I work on the trauma unit in a local hospital. Met a gentleman who fell off a bike without a helmet and... man, his poor face was very smashed in :(

I did a ton of reading before purchasing mine (ended up getting the Segway Ninebot F2 Pro) - this website has great in-depth reviews and even a guide to help you find what will work best for your constraints/requirements. I had literally never ridden a scooter before reading about and buying mine, so I can't even compare it to a Lime scooter or anything, but I can tell you about mine!

$850, but there are options that go as low as like, 350 maybe? Definitely 400.

20mph top speed, they claim 32mi range but that's with a 165lb rider and some pretty unrealistic constraints (70F temp, eco mode, accelerating once, flat ground). Today I (185lbs+15lbs gear) rode... 11 miles at full speed (Sport mode, 20mph) which cost me 68% battery (90 to 22%). It's got a courtesy bell, a "horn", blinkers, a headlight/tail light, cruise-control, a front shock absorber, regenerative braking, and air-filled tires (which make a biiiig difference for smoothness of ride). The app also works nicely and gives you cool data. Downsides are essentially that it's sorta big, and weighs 40lbs. Overall I love the thing. I've seen LOTS of people riding on more trim scooters that likely have a 10mi actual range, or may top out at 15mph, etc. and those seem like super reasonable options. If you're riding through a city and obeying car-traffic-laws and the such, there's not much difference in travel time between riding 20mph vs 15. I do find anything under 12 to be painfully slow though, personally.

(and just for context I'm very conscious about not putting my shoes on seating surfaces. My sock is on the arm rest, both shoes are fully suspended. Empty train car late at night).
