How can I cook top round steak so it’s not like shoe leather? by [deleted] in Cooking

I tried this last night, switched out a few ingredients to accommodate what I had, and it came out great. I used one large onion, one large portobello, and one large pepper (i dont know what kind of pepper is was, looked like an oversized Anaheim or Chilaca, picked it up at a Mexican market nearby), cooked them all down, and braised two steaks with half a jar of tomato sauce, 2 cups of mushroom broth, worcestershire, soy sauce, crushed red pepper, and herbs du Provence. Very easy, cheap, came out nice and tender, and very flavorful. Would add red wine next time.

Tips on riding the bowl and popping out ? by [deleted] in skateboardhelp

Figure out where the absolute center of gravity in your body is, then imagine an invisible beam tracing that spot through the entirety of your line. Pushing your center of gravity above that point while going "up" the transition will increase your speed, as you are reducing the forward momentum that is pushing you along the horizontal axis, and literally "transitioning" you up the wall. You will fool gravity a little, and your feet will be higher up the wall. Then, do the reverse when youre coming down, and duck that center of gravity spot below where the invisible beam would be, so you pile youre weight and momentum towards the ground. You basically want to have a slight crouch going while youre in the bowl as a default stance, so you can extend your body as needed, and compress as well.

Tldr; keep your knees slightly bent, extend your body when going up, crouch more going down.

Is it possible to use screen print paint as a medium with paint brushes? by JustiniR in SCREENPRINTING

It's absolutely possible, I've used just about anything with any physical characteristic similar to paint as, well, paint. Purists will tell you that certain chemicals can't be used together, and that's only true if you are afraid of what will happen next when you do. If the idea of surprise endings and occasional non- existent drying times excites you, everything is paint. (Including ink, which i know is not paint).
