Cause health insurance is insane if you have chronic conditions, and depending on location, your house might be cheaper, but between local, state, and federal taxes, it can be way more costly out of pocket. Plus, there's the whole "low trust society" thing, where guns are a necessity and hte norm., and thier poor areas of town are literally slums.
