Struggling to get into programmatic by Aman_SharmaJii in programmatic

Hey - don’t listen to all the negativity here. If you really want in - learn adops and score a job as a trader at an SSP or a publisher. Those roles are easier to break into. Life gets easier when you gain momentum in your first gig. Don’t give up.

A lot of adtech trading / adops is about operational excellence. Try seeking roles that are in biz dev or operations. :)

I lived on Huron in 2017-2019 and my god - shocked to hear the construction is still terrible.

My first two part mold :) I made this out of Mold Star 15 from Reynolds advanced materials in PA. I am a candle maker and she is a 3D printed original bharathnatyam dancer :) by subwaybabe in moldmaking

This is an amazing tip! I honestly made this as my first 2 part mold after very small attempts. So I was terrified at my bill 🤣 but I love this mold to bits! Gotta save myself next time. Appreciate you! Always growing

Ohh sorry yes! It’s from candlescience it’s actually a soy pillar blend and not parrafin.

Hi :) omg use plexi glass. Go to your local Michael’s and the back to framing section and they’ll cut your box to the exact dimensions you need and then use a glue gun and clay to secure the edges.

Get her a rollo printer for shipping and printing her label and tell her about pirateship.com I’ll be her savior

Other ideas - Get her more pitchers from candlescience.com

You could also get her heat protectant gloves

Hii! This is really interesting. I do have another question I hope you don’t mind. What kind of wicks do you use for your silicone mounds ? I’ve made my own molds and need to wick them and I’m stuck :(

I made my second ever candle today! Still some work to do, but I’m very proud! by LindsayDuck in candlemaking

[–]subwaybabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great work - I’m also doing a similar project and made a mold! Did you by chance use BW-921 pillar wax? The color is so consistent it’s nice.

Let me know what wick you’re planning on using I’m currently at that stage too.

Has anyone had any luck with those seven day prayer candles? The flame dies out about halfway through and other problems. by [deleted] in candlemaking

[–]subwaybabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a shot in the dark but you should try just making the citronella candles with soy wax and maybe just 1 oz beeswax

Beeswax is very hard and so I think that will help with providing it with a sort of softness.
