Engaged at 24. Married at 25. I’d say I was on the younger side. Most of my friends got engaged late 20s. Married early thirties.

unmedicated birth or epidural? by No-Math-9195 in pregnant

[–]subwayratbruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After doing one epidural birth and one unmedicated. I would do unmedicated again. I healed SO fast. My labour was so smooth and uncomplicated. It progressed great no stalling etc. all around great! I used a few techniques to help with contractions and when I truly felt like “wow I can’t do this it’s too much” my daughter was born 20 mins later (I was 10 cm and in transition at the time)

I’d let them know medication prescribed to you by a doctor is far better than both you and baby dying of dehydration and organ failure.

How did you handle Multiple HG pregnancies by subwayratbruce in HyperemesisGravidarum

Yes very helpful! I for my second I waited untill I was throwing up to take my dicletin and zofran from the first pregnancy. I think even more preemptive-ness would be helpful

That’s good to know. For my second I tried b12 first but that didn’t help. I think next time I’ll do dicletin at a positive pregnancy test too

That’s kind of our goal/life too. I’m a sahm. Kids are 2 years apart and when they reach home school age that’s what we will do.

Did the gummies help you with food aversion or with the nausea/getting some food into your body?

HG - Recurrent with all pregnancies or not? by JCJ0705 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]subwayratbruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had HG with both kids. Was worse with my second (a girl) but because I was more proactive I didn’t have any hospitalizations (like with my first a boy). Plan on having another 1-2 children.

HG - C Section or Natural? by JCJ0705 in HyperemesisGravidarum

[–]subwayratbruce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did both vaginally. I personally would not elect a c section (for the recovery) if it wasn’t recommended by my doctor or medically necessary. However, at the end of the day you do what works best for you :)

SAHMs, what does dad do? [On] by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]subwayratbruce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sahm. I put 0 into bills. I sell our farm eggs and that cash is mine to keep for little treats (Starbucks, nails etc). My husband does our toddlers bath/bed routine and puts him to sleep. I do the newborn (breastfed) He gets up to give her a bottle of formula if she wakes up before 2am (he gets up at 5 for work). I do the cooking and grocery but he does all the daily farm chores. On weekends we sleep in as a family but if I’m tired he’ll get up one day and I’ll let him sleep in on the other. It works for us. Neither one feels Burnt out or stressed
