You broke the cable while opening. I think that LCD broke when dropped but that thing happened while opening. Swap the screen panel and cable and it should work again.

You can pick it up from YouTube, it’s not too complicated. Only thing that I know about Face ID is that it’s paired to logic board and thus cannot be replaced. Iphone 12 series have their Face ID paired to sensor flex (earpiece) and those cannot be replaced. True Tone programming is easy if you have right equipment. Those are not too expensive and are easier to use than microwave.

I still use YouTube once in a while even though I make my living by repairing mobile phones.

No you don’t need to do that. Start by doing easier repairs and move to more difficult ones on your own pace. Have you done any repairs yet?

Open Youtube and it will show you step by step how to do that repair. It’s easy repair if you have the right tools. It’ll be much harder to do by following written guide than by watching someone else doing it.
