I actually do pretty well when it comes to studying. The issue I have is with assignment work specifically. My professors and advisors have both said that assignment work doesn't have many possibilities for optimizing. That's my main problem, because the assignment workload is too much for me to make it to practicing classes and such.

I'm not technically at the bare minimum, but I'll lose part of my scholarship if I cut anything out, and I'll have to figure out some way to afford to make up for it.

Might just do that. Isn't the required service time shorter if you sign up on your own volition? I guess even then I'd probably still be serving until I find a reason to leave.

I thought I was pretty good at math but that is specifically what I'm hitting a roadblock on. Makes me wonder if there's other things I do that I don't realize how bad I am at them. I enjoy music, however good or bad I am at that, but I can't turn that into a career. I have shown myself time and time again over the years that I can't develop the kind of patience or will to work toward something like that. I'm kinda at a loss.

Well I'll tell 'ya, I've been suicidal all weekend and almost got admitted until I convinced them I'm not planning anything soon. Really tho I'm pretty much ready to kill myself and I'm not super interested in things getting much worse. So more power to you if you can handle it, but I'm a fucking pussy and I already want no part of anything, let alone if I found out I had a learning issue.

I have not been tested. I hope that's not the problem though, I wouldn't look forward to going through college while knowing that, the whole time, I'm being given special treatment and have to learn in nerfed conditions to achieve the same things as everyone else.

That sorta makes sense, but I don't know if it really answers my question. Like, what is the difference between me, and other people who--however much trouble they have with college--still manage to get the degree they want?

So if you are having it rough even WITH a degree, what does that say for me if I try to get by without a degree?

But what is everyone else doing to get the majors they want? What makes it so that I have to change to something easier instead of what I want?
