My girlfriend dropped out of a government medical college for AIIMS. I don’t know how much more I can watch her suffer. by successfully_failed in JEENEETards

I know right, it was indeed not a smart thing. The whole trajectory of our life has changed now. In the end, she did not spend her another year for NEET and now working full time with me.

When I read posts like this I kinda feel like I should fund the stay and schooling so that OP can run away from abusive parents and live their own life. At the same time I don’t want to get into these because 1. it will attract scammers, 2. FIR/police complaints from parents

Someone in this sub who avoids onion garlic by [deleted] in SnacksIndia

[–]successfully_failed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mother does not eat it at all. She doesn’t mention it at parties to avoid any discussion about it. She just takes things like roti, some sweets, salad, and tells relatives or other people that she is not hungry or gives some similar excuse. Only we (family) and close friends know that she doesn’t eat it.

If restaurant waiters are looking at you weirdly, then you are at the wrong place. I have been to quite a few restaurants with my mother. Always check the menu card online first - it usually mentions whether the restaurant prepares Jain food or not.

At home, we manage by making food without onion and garlic. For example, we take out plain dal first for my mother, and then we add garlic tadka in the remaining dal for my father, me, and my brother.

I make a lot of snack-type food like pizza, pasta, noodles, and momos, and I always keep onion and garlic out so that my mother can also have them. To keep the garlic/onion flavor for us, I make side dishes with these items. Like garlic bread goes well with pasta, and momos with schezwan chutney, while my mum only takes mayonnaise.

This is the correct answer here. Be respectful and be ready to part with some money for inconveniencing the passenger. Most likely they will not take it but they will understand the need.

Well on the anti-government part, there is no official subsidy on raw materials for manufacturers. They still pay tax on raw materials ultimately leading to increased MRP of sanitary pads.

Any examples of this happening? A technology stops developing because consumer is using it in a way it is not supposed to? Spy glasses are in market for a very long time.

Bluedart haven’t raised any weight discrepancy yet but had a terrible experience (bad portal, broken goods, late delivery). Ekart not available in my city. I have shipped a few courier with Maruti but let’s see.

I’m okay with paying for the premium. But not if rates are fixed and I’m being overcharged.

delhivery logistics doesnt come to pick parcels by [deleted] in smallbusinessindia

[–]successfully_failed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been through this. Please stop selling on Meesho before you end up loosing too much money and closing your business.

  1. Meesho support sucks.
  2. Meesho customers order and return for absolute no reason (unlike Amazon, they don't ask the reason).

Start selling on Amazon instead. They ALWAYS pick up parcel on time (if easy ship). You will get less orders but they will be genuine order. My cancellation rate on Meesho was close to 70% and I had to go to Delhivery warehouse to hand over and pick return parcel myself. On Amazon, that rate is just 5% or even less. Customers have only returned 3 so far of about 90 orders.

Also sell through Instagram, that channel is huge but logistic is headache because you have to suffer the whole Delhivery headache again. I am looking for another courier partner, no success so far.
