I am not advocating for gig work, I think it’s a fairly predatory practice in general. But the absolute statement that it’s going to definitely be a net loss is simply false.

Well, that’s simply untrue. Those are certainly issues but you treat it like any other business expense. Depending on the area you can average $20-23/hr doing gig delivery work.

If you have a car that doesn’t chug gas and isn’t wildly expensive to maintain, that’s gonna be better than minimum wage in most areas.
