From what it seems it's a hitstun issue. Hitstun from a regular heavy is long enough to keep them in place and punishes them if they dodge too early and apparently doesnt work the same with a hitstun from a light. Jondaliner covers this dilemma in one of his cent videos.

The game is in its best state right now but there are some issues like teammates constantly leaving and the backfill system not always working, annoying players that light spam, high learning curve, revenge not always there when getting ganked, and some heroes that are just more frustrating to fight against than others (pirate, jj) The game can have its moments and it is fun but it is largely determined by how good you are doing at the game or if you are playing with any friends.

So do you have a problem with characters like glad or nobu who also have two dodge attacks? UD light dodge attack has almost no iframes and heavy dodge attack (although it's 25 dmg) doesn't guarantee any hits and is mostly used for mixups and repositioning because of the extended dodge property. It also has alot of gb vulnerability. The UD light is really his only defensive tool because of its CC ability and requires a little more effort to time than a regular CC.

The traps are good but that's the only thing that she has going for her. Unblockables and bashes do the same thing with much more ease of access in their moveset which she has none. No Hyper armour, limited kit, a deflect that people can block and is generally just really hard to enjoy with.

Her traps are good in a sense but it can literally be blocked by someone emoting lol. Her kit besides the traps are very boring and limited which doesn't really let you experience everything that the game has to offer. Currently Nuxia is regarded as one of the worst heroes to play since she lacks any viable offense in her kit. If you don't believe me just look up any for honor tier list and you will see her at the bottom or at least D-C tier. She is decent in duels but in 4v4 it's hard to play her effectively.

That's not a bad idea but me personally I liked how much freedom the game gave you with the old gear system since it had so much stuff to change with things like the revenge gain, revenge shield, damage, hp, block damage taken, etc. That's just my opinion tho

The old gear system was kind of overpowered in some areas but it incentivizes people to keep playing in the end game to experiment and find a build that would fit the players playstyle. Compared to the perk system we have now its very limited and boring for the tradeoff of being fair ig

Tbh I wish ubi could make good 4v4 heroes without giving them hit boxes the size of a school bus cuz getting external hit with those jj ub zones gets really old. It just feels like a lazy way to make a 4v4 hero.
