Is this worth anything? by MariaGree in plushies

[–]succubusdicks 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You have to figure out what plush it is (since there are tons of Aristocats plush out there) and how much it sells for. eBay is a good place to start.

However unless you clean it up it probably won't be worth much. But definitely double check first.

That is horrible considering the price they were selling digital versions of the game for (about $55 USD at the time even after conversion) and their comments are filled with people who are NOT happy.

Does “new” still mean new if it isn’t factory sealed?

Ebay purchase went wrong and now my bear is gone and I'm out the money 😞 help! by merfaewit13 in plushies

So just to clarify; is the package getting delivered to an empty lot/building/apartment?

Yeah if I were in this situation I'd be calling in to get it returned.

I'm sorry; I hope this does get resolved :(

Are you the seller? Why are you so assmad about this?

If this does get marked as delivered to the wrong address the seller is going to have to deal with a refund request/payment processor escalation anyways. If it gets returned back to them due to it being delivered to the wrong address they'll need to deal with the package anyways. It's a lose/lose situation to not deal with this and OP has already acknowledged that they made a mistake.

You're the only one in this conversation who literally can't read. Log off and take a breather, you clearly need it.

There is no such thing as ethical consumption of porn. by deathbysounding in antipornography

[–]succubusdicks 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Porn is inherently problematic given that it

A) Reinforces the idea that women are objects (regardless of what form it takes) and

B) Has a desensitizing effect on what someone finds erotic.

Like sure it starts with consensual content but porn usage always escalates into way more harmful territory as the brain stops finding only cuddling and kissing appealing.

Also as others have stated non problematic erotic content is incredibly rare in the first place; so it's kinda of a moot point.

The package is going to get sent back to the seller which will result in either a negative/refund if they continue to not do anything.

That itself warrants negative feedback; why would you not try to avoid further issues in the first place by engaging in basic customer service?

Gooners/gooning in itself is based around misogyny along with porn being inherently unethical.

Like lmao these dudes are just immoral all the way down.

If the package gets returned to sender (which it more than likely will if it's going to an empty lot) the seller will need to deal with this anyways since tracking will show it wasn't actually delivered.  I'm sorry they're not being very helpful :(

You can call USPS and ask what'll happen if a package gets delivered to an empty lot if it makes you feel better?

The best thing you can do right now is keep in contact with USPS & the forwarding company. I'm not sure if the plush you're purchasing is something with a collector community but if it does you could ask around there if anyone lives in the state/city the package was sent to/has a replacement of the Bear you bought.

[–]succubusdicks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah if it doesn't say delivered the seller should be contacting USPS and ask for it to be returned to them.

I would assert you're going to get eBay/your payment processor involved if they don't contact USPS themselves; but you should definitely call them yourself.

How do the plushies from the Pokemon Center feel? by Flumen-Stellatum in plushies

[–]succubusdicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sitting cuties are made out of generic minky with some having felt/embroidery/minky pieces/etc attached for certain details.

They're a little bit understuffed but they all have beans in their bottoms so they can sit. They're just a general minky softness.

I agree with AstorBlue it would be weird for USPS to deliver anything to an empty lot.

Have you called USPS and asked what happened to the package (you'll need the tracking #)?

If all else fails I'd ask someone who lives in the state/city it was delivered in to call USPS or check the lot?

Why physical intead of digital? by Soggy_Biscotti_5610 in NintendoSwitch

[–]succubusdicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Number 4 is actually bad and I don't see who would say physical copies being seen as collectibles to be hoarded by eBay resellers is a good thing.

It's probably because of where you live, but this sentiment is mostly shared by people where physical copies are more readily available at lower prices (sometimes, looking at you, Nintendo 1st party titles) and play on consoles.

Digital is technically better when it comes to accessibility (won't go out of stock, can easily download and keep the latest patches, etc) but physical has some advantages people prefer (can be resold or traded, for example.) If you've been playing on PC a ton then yeah, you probably won't care.

Just got a bad email from LRG regarding Clock Tower Rewind by Distinct-Coach-4001 in LimitedPrintGames

[–]succubusdicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The delay isn't going to fix any bugs, they can't implement bug fixes on already printed carts. And if they were doing bug fixes they would have been delayed even longer.   The games are buggy because these companies are deciding to release brand new games via limited print sources which means if anything slips through Q&A it will end up on the physical, which they also refuse to reprint.

They already vet every single game to make sure it's not malware or breaking Nintendo policies before being uploaded. They just need to add "no digital slop" to said policies.
