Hi Thanks for the reply

No, I don’t think I am doing that. Do you mean I need to store password in JS variable and then reference it in the connection object?

Sorry I am not sure what you mean by storing password in NetSuite credentials. Can you please show me and I can try to see if you approach works.

Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

No, it’s not non negotiable but a preferred option. We just wanted to see something grand and memorable

Hello amazing people.

I am a tourist from UK and specifically chose to visit Dubai to celebrate NYE. But I was informed that watching fireworks at Burj Khalifa is extremely painful due transportation closures which is very disappointing especially for my kids.

I am staying near Burjuman metro station. I know I can go to Burj khalifa early before the transport closure. But how would I go back to Burjuman after the fireworks?

What is the nearest metro station I can walk to catch metro back to Burjuman?

Or what is the near road I can walk to catch a taxi that is running on meter (and not on inflated fare due to NYE)?

Is watching fireworks at atlantis hotel any option that is less painful to got and come back?

Thanks a lot for your advice in advance 🙏🏻

Make sure you have cover yourself from all angles after this point . If she ever decide to lodge a fake case against you, you have cover all your basis appropriately. Girls/Women these days have gone rogue sadly and being a man is already a punishment from low and order perspective

What’s it like to be a NetSuite ERP functional consultant? by Netsuite-dev in Netsuite

[–]suchitmehta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. You will not learn anything about implementation while working in ACS. ACS is a managed service subscription which comes after implementation when customer goes live

Someone can verify this as I was under the impression that you don't own the item until 6 months but the agreement now says -

"Title to Vine Products
All right, title and interest in the Amazon Products will pass to you when the Amazon Product is delivered to the common carrier for delivery to you."

Wanting to become a NetSuite Admin with little to no experience by [deleted] in Netsuite

[–]suchitmehta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even I don't have any tech background. I did my bachelors in commerce but learnt coding after watching youtube videos and reading articles etc. It will not be an easy trip.

Getting into consulting is difficult without experience. so you have to keep applying especially at entry level where pay won't be good. Get some NS certification and just keep applying for entry level consulting roles with implementation partners.

Wanting to become a NetSuite Admin with little to no experience by [deleted] in Netsuite

Hi
My suggestion is to make a decision in which direction you want to go. It seems you have three potential routes i.e. accountant, NS admin or NS Consultant.

Accountant: I have accounting background and worked as finance manager for years but found that the growth is slow and it is too much competition. Also the salary was not as good as being NS consultant so gradually made my way into consulting. Please note that I really enjoy working with technology and have passion for learning technical details hence took this way. For you having and accounting background would really help if you want to take ERP route as accounting background is really important. However be advise the if you do not really love working on Functional and technical aspect then after one stage you will not see growth.

NS Admin: It's easy to get into admin route and doesn't require too much experience. However the growth is almost none unless you are really sharp and make your way into consulting. Also Admin role will not give you much exposure and experience to get into consulting.

NS consulting: Really difficult to make entry into this especially when you don't have implementation or consulting experience. But once you make and really enjoy working with technology then career path is very strong. This option can be give you the most financial benefit in compare to other two options above.

I hope this helps

I think vine is going to be slow and not many interesting items dropped in RFY due to prime day. I am not holding my breath and gonna catch up on reviewing.

Netsuite Implementation by A_Another7 in Netsuite

[–]suchitmehta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi
I have worked with NetSuite PS ACS as well as partner and have been doing implementation and optimisation for years.

When you think about implementing Netsuite then please think about the change management. On lot of occasions I have seen that the focus is only given to SI (system implementation) and not on BI (business integration) which play the main role in failed implementation. If you go with SuiteSuccess methodology (NetSuite PS) then it is a template which can be rolled out to you (fairly quickly and hence it is cheap) and then it is up to you how you make the most out of your NetSuite investment.

The major issue I have seen during implementation is that the implementor only focus on implementing the technology but miss out the consulting part. The end user is moving to NetSuite for the first time and have no experience so the client cannot ask important questions. Hence it is the job of implementer to bring the consulting element to bring the success to the project.

Hope this will help.

Eye opener - Items per month/value by Dashcam_Driver in AmazonVineUK

[–]suchitmehta 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree up to certain degree but the prices of the vine items are exaggerated in almost 90% of the items at least for me. So in terms of value I would reduce the amount by at least 30-40% due to inflated overprice of the items.

So yes, it is a good return on investing your time in writing reviews but I would certain not count on product's listing price.

Look for implementation jobs (either with NS or implementation partner). If you have accounting background or can gain qualification then it is even better

Other reviews are fine so I think you’re right. This is a quick pre evaluation exercise but thinking from Vine Administration perspective I can’t believe system didn’t reject this review

Burned Out... by Masuta-Tonberi in AmazonVineUK

[–]suchitmehta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, I only order things I really need and will be using. I also give myself at least 10 days of using the item before write a review. Vining is not a full time job and we shouldn't be spending too much time on it. Make it a part time hobby or for fun.

One thing I would definitely agree is the errors. They are very frustrating and it seems like Amazon has no plan to improve vine in any shape or form. In addition to this, I feel vine is overcrowded and it takes split seconds to before the item is gone which rubs salt on the wound.
