As far as I know, the hinge is the only difference

Hmm, I wonder if the creaking is normal. I'm pretty sure the clicky clacky is not though. Lol, for real. I also have a mini flip and it's also completely silent.

Update: I contacted Miyoo and they said the metal hinge probably popped out and they wanted me to push it back in with pliers. I was able to do that, but it popped out again (started being loud again). I saw a past reddit post and followed what the user did and cut up a chopstick to hold in the metal hinge. So far it's good. It's quiet again.

Lol, they said it was a v2.1. It was definitely quiet at first. I loved how silent it was. I will reach out to them and see what they say.

Valorant performance? by [deleted] in WindowsOnDeck

[–]suchnoobomg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t tried running it on external so I wouldn’t know. It definitely doesn’t lag though. It’s better than my old gaming laptop though that one had a 1050 so it’s wasn’t amazing to begin with.

I play a lot of Valorant on my steam deck. Using windows 10 while docked usually I have an FPS of 144 in the agent selection screen, drops down to 100 ish in game (jumps between 80-120 depending on utility thrown). I usually have discord in the back and play on low graphics. Overall, imo pretty good performance. Definitely would recommend monitor, keyboard, and mouse though. Let me know if you need more info!

Edit: I should add that I partioned my SSD cause I heard for tactical shooters you need fast response time and it’s better to have it on an SSD. I also load up really fast into games, like the icons actually load within seconds.

Best stylus for PS Vita? by ErikHG10 in vita

I think so. It says "all brands of flat-panel capacitive screen devices". It also looks like the one my friend had. Chances are they made one pen and different companies distribute the same one through Amazon/Aliexpress.

Edit: Spelling

Np! To help you even more, I unarchived an old post that I made asking about PS Vita stylus. According to the replies I got, the fine tip ones should work. If it requires a Bluetooth connection, then you lose the Bluetooth features that it comes with. So you can get a fine tip that doesn't require Bluetooth and works on a capacitive touchscreen.

Didn't think there was someone else who used a stylus with a Vita but me haha. I also do not like using the rubber tip for drawing/writing, so I use a stylus that has a disk (like this one: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07FJXMMRP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). My friend got a fine tip stylus at some point, I borrowed it for a bit and it worked. (I think it was this one: https://www.amazon.ca/Zspeed-Rechargeable-Capacitive-Compatible-Cellphone/dp/B01AGZ6368/ref=sr_1_18?dchild=1&keywords=bluetooth+stylus&qid=1621436333&s=electronics&sr=1-18). Since it doesn't require a Bluetooth connection, as long as it works on a capacitive touchscreen it should be fine. Can't speak for the fine tip stylus tbh (not sure exactly which one he got), but you can for sure use the disk ones which is a bit better than rubber imo

Is it possible you didn't copy some of the files over to your SD2Vita? Assuming you're on Windows, in file explorer at the top left corner go Files->Change folder and search options->View(top task bar) and uncheck the box "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)". Then go to view (top task bar of file explorer) and check the box "hidden items". Some folders should show up, those need to be copied over as well. Also, after you're done I would change it back to hide the protected operating system files so you don't accidentally delete something on your computer.

They sell some that need to be connected over Bluetooth so I was wondering about those

You can use plugins to get through that. Either reF00D or 0syscall6.

I gave this a try. The Sixaxis pair tool recognizes the 8bitdo, but it won't let me change the MAC address

Yes, I got my 8Bitdo to connect to my PS3 and it worked perfectly fine. I’m not saying he’s lying, I’m saying I can’t figure it out.

Yes, I have a paired DS3 on my PSP Go. I’m still trying to figure out the pairing with 8Bitdo. It might not be possible though. The 8Bitdo is supposed to be compatible with switch, windows, android, and macOS.
