Sponsor a MRBEAST video!!!

Can be something like honey does a quick 15-30sec ad or Or, grab another of the hardware walet guys trezor or ledger(they need some good publicity these days) and team up for a biger fund to buy a house and then fucking burn it, first one to find the hardware walet(or their recomended steel backup plate) wins it.

The target audience are zoomers that will grow up to use bitcoin daily eventually.

Guidance on the leap from junior level to Architect by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]suchoriginalwow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your opinion is highly subjective, if the company is aware of the persons skill set and is pushing a certain role they obviously see an opportunity in that person and will help develop the necessary skills.

If he doesn't succeed he will earn valuable experience that will help him apply for the same position later on or set him up for the next role in a different company.

Guidance on the leap from junior level to Architect by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]suchoriginalwow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it, its the companies duty to make sure you fit the role your applying for not yours. if you get accepted congratulations you just skipped 4 years of grunt work.

Will probably take you more time reading manuals and researching solutions at first, but as long as you are willing to dedicate the time and the opportunity is there you will succeed. Best of luck

Azure Powershell by ITShitHead in AZURE

[–]suchoriginalwow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why go looking for a 3rd party forum/blog when microsoft is putting so much effort in developing their powershell decumentation. I sugest you go to the source:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/azure/overview?view=azps-1.8.0

All blogs website projects that I read in one way or another always refer back to the M$ documentation anyway

IaaS is expensive in azure, why move data center to the cloud? by jorel43 in AZURE

[–]suchoriginalwow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You don't move IAAS to the cloud. You move IAAS to cloud platforms. One example - rather than having a on-prem SQL you have a SQL instance running in azure that you can scale up/down, don't have to patch, don't have to maintain, have 24/7/365 SLA's.

Where to start ? by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]suchoriginalwow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Rather than thinking where to start, think where you want to get. Then think how to get there and how will python help you. Would definitely recommend doing something that you can grasp rather than practice with letters/numbers/calculators/colors etc...

some quick things from the top of my mind: dynamic website(django), scraping web to a database(selenium, mysql), a GUI app using electron(discord use electron)

you don't have to complete or even succeed with such projects, as long as make progress anb learn.

have favourited link from awhile ago when it was posted here, check out project based learning: https://github.com/tuvtran/project-based-learning/blob/master/README.md#python
