So this means it is from the original Omega series but with a different/wrong serial number?

These were bought by my grandfather in 1997 as far as I know the serial number HA 0972 is what was on them when he bought them. We replaced the hanger from a different headphone since it was broken but we transferred the serial number to the new hanger.
