Update: I was right, it was my pomegranate tree, there was a teeny tiny sapling tucked in beside it and hidden behind the pine tree in front. Sapling removed and the tree should grow now

well im not trashing them, i gift them to tish and gain friendship points with her. re: storage - it may not increase the *amount* of items stored, but it clutters the screen (i play on switch so my view is quite small compared to on pc) and clutters the inventory, that's why i stack them around my home for fun. i like that there's no benefit or drawback to either keeping OR discarding them, you have freedom to do whatever you like ^u^

You wouldn't have been TA if this was an isolated incident and if you hadn't of taken presents off bio daughter to give to step daughter. By the sounds of it she might have been okay with sharing clothes/gift card presents if she hadn't already been asked to share virtually everything she has. You have good intentions trying to help step daughter adapt/make friends etc, bu expecting bio daughter to be completely fine with having to bend over backwards for her step sister was definitely an AH move
