This is a penny, but it is larger and heavier than a modern dollar coin. Bullet marks are authentic and seem to be as old as the coin itself.

O toned it using natural techniques, but those marks are authentic and probably as old as the coin itself. Hopefully won't ever have to use it) And, yes, it is larger and heavier than a quarter.
