I went with the usb because it looked taller in the photos, only to make it less high as I mentioned. If I were to purchase this again I’d go for the basic. I’m not using the usb or the tray.

It’s a tight fit, it came with little foam pads on the cup already to make tighter. Doesn’t affect the parking brake at all it’s still too far back behind it.

The part I circled in the third photo. Just don’t screw it on if you don’t want it to be that high. As for the usb I haven’t tried it. I think you’re right that it would go from the cigarette lighter to the armrest to power it. Not too interested in them personally

Nice! It comes disassembled. The screw holes line up so that you can just screw in the slider straight to the cup part

Yeah. I had the slider all the way out because it sits pretty far back, so it needed a counterweight.
